How does your country celebrate Holocaust Remembrance Day?

Because of the 6 million Jews and other people who were killed by the Nazis, we have a holiday, Holocaust Remembrance Day, which this year corresponds to April 12. In Israel, there is a big ceremony at Yad VaShem, the Holocaust Museum in Israel. At 10:00 am there is a 2 minute siren where people are supposed to stop what they are doing for that time. People stand in silence, stop their cars etc. What do you do in your country?

Hello rachael, I've watched several movies about holocaust and it really touched someone's heart, feeling of sadness, losses after all those horrific event. I can't imagine that it really happened in real life. We don't celebrate here in our country but I stand for your country's commemoration of those who passed during those days.
