I go to the movies at least once or twice a month with my friends. It's something that we do together to keep us from getting bored and really the only thing that we really can do. So how many times do you go out to the movies?

I believe it to be relaxing and something to enjoy too. That's the main reasons I go.

I watch films every day , one film everyday for now i got time because i really love films , so i really love and have a good experience watching films. I grew up to watching films in my whole childhood , when i was 12 i was in cinema whole weekend watching my favorite films . I know sounds very geek.

If it's something you enjoy then keep doing it.

HI Lcrkar, I am not the kind of movies goer. I rarely went to the theater or cinema either my my friends or alone. I prefer to watch movies at my comfort at home either from DVDs or online movie. The reason for that because the ticket prices was too expensive. It is a round Ringgit Malaysia 7 for local movies and Ringgit Malaysia 10 for outside movies (Hollywood, Bollywood or Hong Kong). With that kind of money, I could buy my lunch and dinner. It is too expensive for only one time watch. And since we could download the movies from internet, I did not see why I should go to watch at at the theater anymore. Maybe we can watch it at their first showing but that not justified their expensive price. I rather watch it later when I can watch it for free (with quality audio and video) from the internet.

I agree that ticket prices have become really expensive. I know if they go up anymore that I probably won't go. 3d movies are even more expensive which I don't believe is right.

i used to go to the movies every week. i just love watching movies at the cinema. used to watch with friends or even alone.. then with friends or with girlfriend. but after i started working, i did not have the time to go anymore. but now that i've moved away and have a different job and life, i'd go to the movies once a month. but if there's nothing interesting then i'll skip that month. so not as often.. but i do miss that time when i would go every week

Movies is one way to relax a quite preoccupied and hard thinking mind. Especially for those techy ones. I would always take the time to watch movies especially when there are good ones that are showing. If there are 4 at a time that is good, I'd usually watch all of them!. But if there is nothing that catches my attention, I wouldn't usually bother. On the average, I'd got to the movies 4-5 times a month.

Wow. I'm glad we're not the only ones that go a lot. We try and go see the ones we think look good. There's some months that there really isn't anything.

the movies is probably one of the most popular hang out place in my opinion. i like it but on the other hand i also like to talk to friends. I go to the movies a lot. During the summer it was like once a week but now im finding that there arent very many movies out that im interested in. so now i probably go once every couple of months.

This is the most I've gone in years. I think it's, because it's really the only thing to do here besides going to dinner or bowling.

I'll be honest, the fact is that movie going really does not fit into my schedule any more. That and the nearest place around here is so far out of the way that it would take a really good movie to get me there and something that would really catch my interest. So it is not really something that I see myself going that often and a lot of the movies these days do not appeal to me. As for how often when I do make those rare trips out of the way to see a movie, well it is extremely difficult to say. I would have to say maybe once a year, a couple of times a year perhaps. As I mentioned, it really has to take something that interests me to go out of my way. Never really been much of a movie goer to begin with, always waited for the DVD. These days, even less so.
