I don't often use my paypal account, only really when I want to buy or sell something on ebay, but I cheked it the other day to see if I had anything left to make an online purchase, and i found that someone had been hacking money from my account. The only lucky thing was that this guy had sent an echeque to himself from my account, for $100 and I managed to get in contact with paypal and stop the transaction. The only thing was the money did come out of my account, but they have reimbursed me now, and the guy never got my money. It's shocking to think that someone can get hold of your account info like that and take your money. Since this has happened I have now taken extra security and now if anyone tries to get into my account I get a code sent to my phone that is needed to log into my account. If anyone else has this problem or is concerned about it then i suggest you do the same as me.

You are still so lucky that you still get your money back. By the way can you teach me how to set that code to sent in my phone if someone would like to log in my account. I am interested in that security thing, but I am not fully aware of how to do it.

I believe my PayPal account was hacked once before. I remember when I first logged in after a certain amount of time where I hadn't in a while, I got a message or something saying that they had reason to believe a third party had tried accessing my account. On my account itself, everything had actually changed from English to a foreign language. Fortunately that was about as far as it went and I didn't lose any money or anything. Of course I had to change my password though. I'm glad you were able to get everything worked out and all that. I don't use my Paypal account that much either. The only times I ever have were to buy something from eBay. I think taking out added security is a great idea. You can't be too safe with something like this.

I have always been concerned about using paypal for large amounts of money i normally transfer money out as soon as i can so that i do not have a large amount in there. I am glad you got your money back but i think that paypal need more security measures in play.
