There is one particular cricket match that I can never forget in a hurry.I can't remember the details of the match as I was too small at that stage..precisely I was 6 years old.It was a match played at the Eden Gardens between the arch rivals India and Pakistan. The Indian team was captained by Kapil Dev abd the Pakistam team by Imran Khan.India batted first and riding on a century by Krisnamachari Srikkanth they scored in the region of 239-240.In reply the pakustanis lost all their wickets except one and the asking rate climbed up to 12-12.5 per over and then came Salim Malik. For the next half an hour or so everyone witnessed the brilliant strike playt of malik who single handedly took his country to victory and Maninder Singh who was so effective till then just looked on.I can never forget that game in my life time.

Years back,I watched a one day math between India and Pakistan.India scored 250 and Pakistan started the chase very slowly.During the final overs the victory was in India's grasp and we Indians were cheering.Pakistanis lost all hopes and started to leave the stadium.Javed Miandad changed the fate of the match playing brilliantly. In the last ball Pakistan needed three runs and the full toss by Chetan sharma was hit for a huge six by Miandad.I can not forget that six and the match ever. I never dared to watch an India Pakistan match at Sharjah since then. Now ,since the introduction of 20:20 matches such close matches are not rare to watch.

My memorable matches are many. But to name one that pops my mind immediately, I'd go for the 1998 Sharjah cup between Indian and Australia. Tendulkar scored a brilliant 143 on the final league match where India needed to qualify for the final. India lost that match but qualified for the final due to the net run rate. And went on to win the final against Australia in Sharjah Cup. That was one of the memorable match I can think of.

Yes that is a great match..I didn't see it live but I watched in youtube...The match looked like highlights till the end..The real appreciation goes to south africa..I love the team India and South africa..But there are many more matches which are at its best...I will never forget Sachin's double century with South africa..I really went like crying after he hit double century..I love Sachin a lot...India vs Pakistan in T20 final also is a great match..I thought Misba will hit but he got out eventhough there are balls to spare..that time my mobile slipped from my hand...so there are lot of matches in cricket history...
