Girls Please Explain this to Me

Hahaha, seems like you got yourself a high-maintenance girl! Well for one, not all girls had to put make up on. But then, most girls have many different ceremonies before they, or , we, finally are ready to go, but not necessarily make-up ceremony. I suggest that the next time you take her out on a date or an outing, agree on a time an hour, or half an hour (whatever suits you) before your desired time. But don't tell her about it. Example, the movie is 9 AM, tell her that the movie is at 8. So by 9 AM she is done with all her rituals. I dont know with you but my BF adapted that strategy (I caught him), and it worked. Dating was such a breeze sometime before.

Make-up is actually overrated these days. Instead of enhancing beauty, it over shadows the real 'beauty' of the person. But I guess we women use it because we just want to look 'perfect' every time. But, I don't use all of those on a day to day basis, I just use what I think I need. The discussion actually reminded me of what I saw yesterday. I was dressed in very simple clothes, just lipstick, no powder even. But I made sure I was clean. Walking down the mall to look for something I need, I saw groups of ladies who were in total fashion. Mascara, lipstick, eyeliner, foundation, concealer, even fake eyelashes! and it just stuck me, they may feel they look great, but I don't see them as beautiful, I saw them as a walking dolls. By the way, it's not really nice to put on make-up too much. The constant rubbing during putting it on and taking it off causes wrinkles in the end. Not to mention that these are 'chemicals'.

Hi Markleob, That is really annoying sometimes, especially when you're too eager to go out and too excited to enjoy outdoor. But you have to understand, that such things is a woman nature. These beauty products helps us built our confidence. Beside, every girl I know do this, because they want their boyfriend to feel proud. For me, I want to always look good for my husband. Powder is okay and natural beauty is much better, but you must accept that the modern era affects every woman's life and that includes putting on some make-up. This is life, you need to evolve and adapt with your surrounding.

She could probably drop the foundation and blush as that stuff just clogs up your pores and looks horrible. If she takes good enough care of her skin and drinks plenty of water she really shouldn't need it. For the eyes two coats of mascara should do it and then curl the lashes to open them up and then a simple lip tint. That should cut the time in half greatly.

I only do these "ceremonies" when I go to church (I have to look my best visiting the Lord's house) and on special occasions, such as going to parties or programs where I have to be onstage. Usually, I'd just powder my face a bit, just so it's not oily, and occasionally, I'd curl my lashes, but that's it. I'd love to put a lip balm on, only that I'm allergic to lip cosmetics, so I'll have to go with natural lips, or olive oil on my lips. (lol!...but true.)

You make me laugh here,oh my God,I am in office now.I think your girlfriend just want to be more beautiful and she thinks you will be proud of her beauty.If you tell her you do not like woman making up.I think she will not.

Hey Mark! Well, you should try to understand that girls are really like that. We do want to look good especially when we are with our special someone. We would always make sure that we would look presentable while being with our bf. Can't you see that your girlfriend is doing it for you? So wake up and better support your girlfriend in whatever you called as ceremonies that she is doing.

Girls like to look good, and boyfriends who gets mad at the time it takes should learn to be more patient, anyway those things we do are for you also. We would like you to be walking or driving around with a messed up girl. While men are born polygamous, women are instinctivel concious.

All these companies who are manufacturing beauty products will become bankrupt with guys like you discouraging their girls to do themselves up. The fact that they are still thriving and going places shows that almost every girl is into using make up. Wake up markleob, it is better that you give your girl more time than lose your patience. After all she is doing that for your sake!!

hahaha! I also do that. It takes me 30 minutes on a regular day and an hour if there is a special occasion. Women in general wants to look good and feel good and one of the ways that this can be achieved is by putting on some make up. I don't usually put eyeliner and lipstick daily but it still takes me 30 minutes for the powder and concealer. I think it is just normal and men should accept it :)

You make me laugh in there. Anyways I dont know if I could answer your question to your satisfaction. I ma girl but I dont put make ups every day or everytime I went out. I only put make ups very seldom only. According to them they put make ups because they want to look beautiful, for them their natural beauty is not good at all, so that is why they put make up to enhance more beauty. Its all for enhancement of our own beauty if some are not contented with their beauty.

well,this is so normal for every girls and dont be upset about it.cosmetic is the great magic for girls to make them looks more beautiful and young.and every girl hope herself looks more beautiful and young,so most of them makeup when they grow up,i ever heard a saying that if a girl do not makeup that means she do not grow up. girls want to show their best side to others,simple makeup,like powder can just make them looks tidy and clean but glamor.and also,if a girl not makeup in ceremonies she would look down by other girls.Just have a look in the ceremonies,if there any girls who attending ceremony without makeup.i think there isnt.if everyone there are makeup.why you girl not. also i almost never see any stars in the tv or on red carpet without makeup

we always want to look our best whenever we are with our guy. the real question is, are we enjoying the fact that it takes us a long time to prepare. im guilty with the amount of time it takes me to prepare. however, i make it a point that i'll do it before the time we agreed to meet or for my guy to pick me up. this is just my way of being sensitive to one of guys' nature

You must know that ,all girls like to fig to make them more good-looking.especially when they go out.Many girls even be addicted in making up .this is one character of girls ,just understand your girl .what she do is for pleasing you .you can read a book when waits her,then you won't think it waste of time
