well, i finally got my eon card after waiting for a week. so i was told it'd be active in 24 hours. I linked my other bank to paypal and they charged me a lot to withdraw my earnings and i learned about eon from my bro so i got myself one. so now that i've changed my pin what else do i do? how do i link it to my paypal? i know i can get this info from their customer service but i think they'll be queueing so... anyone got tips and tricks to hasten the activation?

Congrats that you already received your eon card. For me I still dont have my eon card. So I could not give you any tips about your question. But I just warned you about linking you personal bank account would be risky. Because paypal account can be hacked by someone else. Are you putting some security code so that it will not be hacked.

I didn't know PayPal can be hacked. What security code are you talking about, and where/how do I add one? Is that a security code for PayPal? Please teach me. :)

@jeeyah: It could be hacked indeed. One of my client's account was hacked before but he managed to fix it. Just make sure that you don't download any rogue software, be wary of phishing sites and just be careful of your online transactions.

Is it from Unionbank here in the Philippines? How much do they charged for that eon card? I just actually add my Chinabank and my Landbank accounts to my paypal. And just chose what bank will I transfer my paypal money. It's no hassle. The only thing is that you have to wait for 4 banking days before it will be successfully transferred to your account and that's the time that you can already withdraw it although with some deductions already.

@aabuda: Linking your account with Paypal is pretty easy, I documented the steps on my blog so you can check it out jonhappiness.blogspot.com then simply search for "Paypal". Remember that they're charging $5/withdrawal @ada8may: It could be risky but most online sites pay through Paypal so you better take the risk. Remember not to "Remember Password" on public computers and always log out. Do not install rogue softwares and just be careful. Even the money in pocket could be snatched anytime, risk is everywhere, you just gotta be careful

There's a set-up page there in Paypal stating where you're going to transfer the funds and you just input the card number and account number plus the swift code to be given to you by unionbank if you call their customer service. I've done this a lot of times and it's actually easy, it takes more or less 2-5 banking days but you usually get your money in less than 2days. Plus, you'd see the transaction in your paypal account and your unionbank account as well (both online). It's easy, don't worry about it. One concern would be that the transferred currency conversion is far from the prevailing rate. It's less than the rate of banks. It was explained to me by paypal that they do that because they're converting small amounts of money as compared to what banks do. Also, try to reach at least $100 before you convert so that the bank charges or service charges from paypal would be cancelled. Good luck!

yah i did use my eon card to get verified at paypal. and i use this card also to withdraw my online earnings. just be patient to wait for a while. just log on the eon card website and create your username, enter your card number etc., then wait again coz for the activation of your online account. I think i waited around a week or so before. while waiting, go to your paypal account and enter your card number,etc.. make sure that you have at least 200pesos on your eon account because paypal will test your account by deducting some amount. but don't worry, it will be refunded son after you got verified. once you've done the verification, you can now transfer funds from your paypal to your eon card.It normally took me 3-5 business days to wait for the my fund in pesos. you will be charged $5 for every withdrawal you made.

Hi oxio10, If you have a bank account, you can add (link) any bank account to your paypal as long as your paypal account it verified. Just follow the above instructions I've posted above. If you PayPal account is not yet verified, you can also use any bank account to verify it.

If you need to verify your Paypal account using your Eon card, there should be a link to verify or link your account. After doing this, you should get an email with the verification code, then your Paypal will be verified.
