Studying the day before the exam is good?

No it isn't. It simply means that you are cramming. It means that you haven't prepared well. If you do that your mind tends to jumble everything that you have studied. The best way is to take a rest before the day of exam. Get away from studying. go to the movies. Just don't drink it is not good for the brain for that particular time and in general.

hello there! for me it works. that's actually my habit when i was still studying, i study my lessons the day before the exam and do some reviews at night and hours before. hehe but of course its important that you understand what you are studying to mkae everything a lot more easier.

I think YES, it's good. The information will still be fresh in your mind when you take the exam the next day. Just don't over-study the day before the exam and don't over-stressed your brain. Just study leisurely and have some rest after that.

Studying the day before the exam is good but only studying the day before the exam isn't good. There should be at least a week's time used to prepare for the exam and while you could still study up to the last day, you shouldn't relay on that time to know all the material. For me, it's hard to study on the day before the exam because I get too tense but if I could do it, I'm sure that it would valuable study time.

Once I saw a documental that said that the best thing to do is to study the night before an exam, that way while you sleep all the study you did will be kept on the memory. I think, from my personal experience, that the best thing you can do is to study a few days before and the very night before the exam study some more, but NEVER study the same day. That's how I used to do it.
