Hello everyone,
They say "first love never dies" and you'll always remember your "first love."
My first love is my boyfriend right now. I'm a late bloomer, haha.
The song that reminded me of him is actually entitled "First Love" literally, it was sung by Utada Hikaru. He gave me a CD containing that song during his courtship, expressing his feelings for me. We are each other's first love. So whenever I hear that song, it always reminds me of him and his love for me.

Hmmmm. I think it's On Bended Knees by Boys II Men. I don't really know why was it that way, or when I started attaching the song to my ex ( first boyfriend ), but until now, whenever I hear the song, I still remember my ex, even my friends always points out my ex, whenever we hear the song when we're together. LOL. I guess they all knew that that was our song.

Hahahaha. That is so true, I often associate a song, or a store in the mall, or a type of food to a guy. That's why now, I don't pass a day when I laugh to myself cause I remember someone because of a certain song, or I pass a certain place. hehe.

Hi ingkingderders,
I love Boyz II men and their songs, especially "on bended knees". We girls have that habit to associate a song, a thing, or any stuff to our crushes/boyfriends. I still can remember those times... especially when our friends start teasing us. I could definitely relate to that.

uhmm..I found it unusual to have a first love in your 7th boyfriend. Didn't you love the other 6? I know it's none of my business, but I'm just curious.
Anyway, "I'll Be" is such a romantic song. It was way popular back in my high school days, and every girl wants to be serenaded with that song. Thanks for sharing!

Well, it was during my high school days. If I am not mistaken, the music that reminds me of my very first love was the "Lady in Red". It was by Kriss de Burg. I do not know if I made the name right but surely can remember the song. Boy, she was really beautiful in red, I still remember the time when I held her in my arms during the prom...

"Only Hope" by Mandy Moore. At that time, the movie "Walk to remember" was at the peak of its popularity and the song just got significant for both of us. He never became my BF because of many reasons, mostly external.

Yes he did. But my third boyfriend who is now my honey hubby used to serenade me playing is guitar with his courtship song..."mahal kita walang iba" by ogie alcasid was really a blockbuster to me hehehehehe!

Yes, there was a song, in a regional language which I listened so many times when I had that first crush. I should translate a few lines here,

Forever by Rex Smith, it was one of the hit songs in the early 80's. I was 19 then and he gave me a single record of the song. I don't know if you're familiar with the record, it's a round black one to be played in a stereo with a turning table in it. Hahaha! Don't think I'm too old! Just want to reminisce the past. Though we did notmake it through...maybe because we were very young then...I still cherish the times that we were together, the relationship was quite short, we were steady for a year and 9 months. We thought at first that ours is Forever, but something unevitable came up thus the separation. It was hard to take but I was able to cope up and recover. I am now married for 25 years to the man I chose to be with forever with 4 kids to treasure and cherish.

My first love got already lost in my thoughts. Right now, I couldnt even remember who and when.haha. Its me. When I lost something, I just let it go of all the memories. So even songs, dont have any idea what is it. LOL! I guess, it depends upon the person who holds and let go of love. If your the type of person like I am, well, I guess, you too couldn't remember it either. LOL!

the song that reminds me of my first love would be the song entitled "How did you know" by aiza seguerra. this was the song that he sung in the phone for me. the first stanzas was similar on how we have met. even now when i hear this song being played it can't help to remembering him. my friends would sing this song just to tease me of those days.

Well, "Can't Let Go" by Landon Pigg comes to mind for me. Because she left, and I never really said goodbye, because it was really never like she was really here. I knew she was going to be here for onyl a year, but it didn't stop me from falling head-over-heels for her. But, I still hope that someday we'll meet again, despite the reality of the situation.
