Is there a free text application for mobile phones?

I want to know if there is free application for symbian s60v5 that would allow free messaging like chikka messenger whenever I am online on my mobile. Thanks for reply...

You mean send free text message software? I don't know if there available for mobile phone, I've heard they available on some website (not cell phone software)

yeah... I knew that there are free software for windows that offer free text like "chikka messenger". just trying if mylot-ers know if there are these kind of softwares for mobile phones so I would no longer open the computer whenever i want free text, as long as I have internet connection.

Check with your mobile provider. If that's usually a good place to start. Also look in your phone's user manual, the manfucture usually has a website with certain applications, or specs you need to look for when looking for mobile applications to download.
