Dhoni proved again...! Chennai Rocks !

To tell you the truth Chennai was out of it in the 17th over with over 35 to get of the last three overs. Then came the Dhoni blast and it was magnificent. It started with some boundaries and was rounded off with those two massive massive sixes!! It was really an explosion and now that takes Chennai to the second place and that would mean that Chennai would not come up against Mumbai Indians in the semis which could be a good thing given the form of MI this season. Yeah it was awesome match and I am impressed the way Badrinath played but unfortunately got out at the wrong time. This gave Dhoni a chance to show his class for the first time and CSK had earned their spot in semis in a superb manner. I think Irfan Pathan career as bowler is over in T20 cricket, he bowled 2 length balls which gave room for Dhoni to pull the ball, if those length balls would have been slower one then it would not be that easy to hit but previous over Throne bowled very well but Pathan once again became villian for Kings XI for the second time on this venue.. I think it is end of the roard for I Pathan.. Well your second favourite team DD has lost a close match to Deccan Chargers.. Wow what an performance from Deccan Chargers and they too have earned their place in the semis.. DD is overhyped and never played to their expectations in this whole series... Many have underestimated Deccan Chargers and everyone thing that they are weak team and forget that they are the defending champions. Now they are in semis and will take on CSK, I love to see Hayden and Gilchrist both fire up in the semis with their bats.. It was very poor batting by both these legends from Australia.. Whoever wins it is a win for me because my favorite teams in IPL are DC, MI and CSK.. So, all the best my dear friend,

CSK deserved to go to the semis...The only team to go to the semis thrice in a row :) This was the first time I have seen Dhoni emotional...And what a power he has! Hats off to him :)

Anna Chennai were outstanding today. Badri and Raina put on the momentum and kept it going and CSK needed some 50 odd runs from 18 balls. I thought our semis hope are gone. But two fours from Albie and 2 fours, 2 sixes from MSD sealed things off for us. But, the real hero of the match was Irfan Pathan - he sealed it up for CSK. Without him, MSD could not have smashed those easy 6's and he dropped a catch of Albie and one of Dhoni. He is the real star of the match!

Oh that was an interesting match and Chennai Super Kings and Indian Captain MS Dhoni made its team confirm the semi final seat. Rania and Badrinath had given a good sorry excellent support with their bat and finally MS Dhoni finished the Thriller positively. We hope same performance will come in T20 World Cup and Indian should bag the T20 World cup again. Hope the best Cheers

hi gany. you know that i am from assam and i have no basic reason to support a certain team so my favorite top three teams of ipl are.... MUMBAI INDIANS, CHENNAI SUPERSTARS AND RAJASTHAN ROYALS. anway can u whistle like dhoni and all the south indians as i have seen in the add. have a nice day.

ya it was a superb match from the cool captain ms dhoni. he played very well under pressure. raina is always a consistent run machine. he always plays well. the main reason for the win was every one scored some runs and mainly badri scored a good fifty which was rare to watch from him. but in the end it was the dhoni who walk it over to mumbai.

Dhoni is a real hero and he is a good player. He has lead his team from the front. I think chennai deserves the win.

Yes it was a blasted innings by Dhoni and now Chennai are in semifinals.. really it was a big target for Chennai.. and one time it will happen.. that Panjab will won this match.. but in last 3 overs Dhoni played very aggressive... that's why Chennai win their very very important match against Panjab.. and now they are in semifinals..

Hi Gany I really see a cricketer in you. You watched so closely the match. Happy that some one is like me. During the last overs I was just praying and praying that our team must enter into semis. But last over 16 runs I didn't have much hope. But the first four, vow it was like a flash light. We just cried loud for another boundary. Superman dhoni fulfilled our thirst and struck a big hit. I was then sure we are going to win. It was really fantastic to see one more big hit. I couldn't even get up and shout loud. Sometimes happiness comes like this also. But Iam afraid. chennai ressembles indian team. we always makes semis, sometimes finals too, But winning the match is rear. Lets hope for the best
