it's not wrong for you to be concerned about our looks, however, there are other people specially women are obsessed with their appearance. they believe that being attractive means being thin. have you ever looked at yourself in a mirror? what do you think? are you concern or obsessed to your looks?

Well for me, I don't really care how would I look like to other people. It doesn't matter as long as I am hygienic and clean enough. I don't put accessories to look better nor wear branded suits to make me looked upon better. I don't need the recognition of being vain nor good-looking. As long as I am recognized good and human, it is all fine.

good for you my friend. look doesn't matter what is important is the inside character you have., as long as you are clean. anyway being simple is art of beauty. you can see the beauty of a person through its simplicity., as long as you always smile can give you a big factor to enhance your characteristics..

I don't often look in the mirror. I have one mirror in my apartment, and that is the bathroom mirror that was in my apartment when I moved in. I don't like looking in the mirror. I'm defnitely not ugly, but I certainly don't think I'm pretty. So I try to avoid looking at myself as much as possible. That way I won't be as self-conscious.

there's nothing wrong with wanting to look good, far more important than our appearance is our personality. in the long run, spiritual qualities will make us more attractive to others than chiseled muscles or a flat stomach...God Bless!

your right., being obsessed our looks can make as disappointed sometimes, we there is something we want to be to ourselves but it hard to make it., others concerned to their self to maintain their health balance., and others content it what they have got to their looks., what is important they love us because of who we are not what we are.,

I think concern is just a few steps away from obsession. It is fine to have a little concern about the way you look. As long it does not impact your life. I mean, some people have derailed their entire lives to see how they look. That concern just grows and grows, getting even larger and larger, until it goes into a full blown obsession and then the problems occur. I really do not look at myself in a mirror. I know people who do, both male and female. So it is not just a female thing, because trust me, there are a lot of men out there that obsess how they look. Like they want to look insanely muscular, that is a different type of obsession for their looks. Still, I do not really like looking in the mirror, because let's face it, it's only downhill here for me for my appearance. I have a bit of concern for my own appearance I guess. Not something that I really think about all that much. I most certainly do not lose any sleep over it for sure. Just enough to look presentable. Of course, it really depends on your definition of what presentable is. Still, there is more than enough for me to do as opposed to being too concerned or obsessed with the way I look.

sometimes we need to dress up ourselves to make presentable in the public or in our work, and of some occasion, and its normal. as long as we are net and clean., this can make us additional look to ourselves., being simple is good to see..

most teenager are obsessed to their looks., they are very conscious in their body, their hair, the way they walk., they always think what the best for them to make sexy and beautiful., just because they start to fall and attractive , but for us as matured person we are contented and comfortable of we have as long we are net and clean.,

I'm not obssessed with my looks. I mean I wear pajama pants and a men's tank top when I walk my dogs outside around the apartment or to check the mail. Honestly there is no one here to impress anyway. When I go to the store I will get more dressed up and put on some quick eye makeup but I'm still just wearing a top and some jeans and sneakers. If I'm going to be out all day like to several places like the mall, over to someone's house out to lunch etc. then I will do my hair nice and do my full makeup and wear a nicer shirt or whatever the occasion calls for. I have like levels of dress. lol But around the house I look like a serious bum. I mean, I don't want to get dressed up for cleaning and doing homework and being inside lol. I don't live with my boyfriend so I don't feel like I need to get dressed for him either. I am overweight and I am trying to eat better and maintain my exercise plan but it isn't necessarily to look better, I would like to be healthier so I can do other types of activities (I would love to learn to do some mixed martial arts, long hikes in the forest, white water rafting) and I just don't feel like I have a strength or stamina level for those types of activities so I want to lose weight. Plus I need to for my health. But other than that there are plenty of men who are interested in being with larger women like myself so I don't feel like I need to be obsessed with my actual looks.
