do you live in the city or in the country? do you think it's better to live in the city or country? so which do you prefer to live in right now, i am actually living in a very crowded and traffic, pollution infested city but good opportunities are here.Maybe after a few years and i have the money I will move in a location that is quite far from the city but is accessible... how about you?

Country living has always been my choice since moving in to my own house. The tranquility you will feel outweights all the lights and perks of a city life. There's always this feeling of belonging when you see birds flying freely, trees bending softly with the winds and country people smiling sweetly everyday....

I`m living in a city which is not so much big , but i like it.I always wanted to live in a province but in the city i can go to good coffee and cinema with friends , make it fun in a disco , or just having fun with friends. But in province i can learn more about our culture and to relax. There is no stress in the province like small villages where all peoples know themselves :) So from all of this i choose City life

yes province or country life has lesser stress.that's one thing everyone loves about it.its the relaxation that it gives to oneself so it's better to live in the country that is near a midsized city.love it

Green and beautiful - The countryside is where my heart is.
If only for the fresh and cool environment in the province, I really would opt to stay that part of the country. I love the trees, the cool breeze, the peacefulness and solitude. However, my work is in the city so it is impractical to stay in the province and commute every day for long hours just to my office. So as for me I only do spend vacation in the province during long weekends and during summer vacation to enjoy the place but during ordinary day I stay in the city to earn a living.

I really like country life. I've never lived in really big cities, but I've visited plenty of them and I've lived in moderately sized cities. I don't like the hustle and bustle and everything that's going on. There's not really many pretty places to walk, it's too crowded, and it's not really a place that I would like to raise my children, not to mention that we were in a kind of shady part of town because that's all we could afford at the time. Now we live out in the country. It's really in the middle of nowhere and it's an 45 minute to an hour drive for us to get to work, but it's worth it. We got the house for a great price and it's the kind of house we wanted and it's next to family, which is always a plus. It's a great neighborhood and we've got an acre of land for the children to play on, 4-5 acres across the street with a barn for horses, and a quiet street that they can ride bikes down or whatever. I think children miss out on a lot in big cities. Where we are now, a lot of the people know each other and they've known people since they were little and everything and I think it's nice to have that camaraderie and everything. That doesn't usually happen in cities.

an hour drive is really worth it if after the busy life you can go home to the lush green country side. It's like having a vacation everyday. And I don't also want to raise my kid in the city life either

Province is what i like. My family lives in the province but we are only 30 minutes away from the city. Its nice to live in a place wherein its not too crowded. I like to see the ambiance of our place wherein you can see lots of trees. I like to feel the freshness of the air. Living in province will be the best place for me.

mm I've been living in capitals cities all my life, I'm a city guy, yet i would prefer once i realize all my dreams go to the country side and rest.. life is nice in cities, you have a lot of probabilities but nothing is more amazing than a relaxing life in a place out of worries like close to the nature...

I live in a province that is very near a city. Its just a few minutes drive. I do love it considering that I can still hear the birds and there are still lots of trees around. A few minutes walk and the sea is there. Practically, its a great place to live. Sad to note that there are many people living in our area so often there is already that noise created by people, karaoke, loud music. But over all its tolerable and I find it better than living in the city where there is much traffic and pollution.

i like the country life but only for vacations. I probably would not last living in the province for so long being the city girl that I am. yes I welcome the serenity that comes with living in a far away place but I also live for the hustle and bustle of the city.

I live in the city and I like it here even though its over populated and polluted, there are tons of areas to visit here and job opportunities. But I also like the country side because its peaceful and the air is fresh compared to the city. Also, there are wonderful tourist spots and resorts located in the provinces. Maybe for vacations, provinces are my refuge and for my study and job hunting the city is the place to be. :)

I live in the city. I prefer to live in city now. Where you living depends on your favor more. If you like bustling place you had better be in city, if you like quiet place you had better live in the country. When I have enough money I will consider move a beautiful place around which has mountain and water.

Country life is okay for retirement or trips and vacations. But at this time of my life, I prefer to stay here in the city. My work is here, my family is here, the mall and other amusements are here. I still love country life of course, but not totally live there.

Different people have different answers to this question. It depends on which factors you take seriously. Personally speaking, I like to live in the suburb where is not far from the urban area. As an ordinary person who is neither rich nor poor, I need to take advantage of various public facilities including hospital and school. In my nation, such facilities are mainly located in urban areas. What is more important is that I need to find a job to feed myself, and most well paid jobs are offered in urban areas. But the cost of living in urban areas is too high to afford. At present I live in a place where is forty minutes subway trip from the centre area of city.

I live in a city, but I wish I could live in the country, true country I mean. These days with the over crowding of people everywhere even the countryside seems not attractive. The real country homes are so secluded that some civic amenities one is accustomed to in city life are lacking making it not so attractive. Education, medical and social needs are lacking in the villages (we call country). If one goes to a truly secluded places to have the heavenly country life, the security problems crop up. All said and done I would prefer life in country, if I can help it.

I have never experienced living in the province. But I can just imagine how peaceful it is to live there. I would prefer to live a simple life. I just think that living in the country is boring in a way unless you a have a house there that is fully furnished/equipped. On the other hand, yes, in the city, you have almost all the places you want to go for entertainment etc. It's just that things now are very expensive because in the country the cost of living is not like when you are in the city. maybe, when I grow old I would prefer to live in the country.
