In other countries ,It's a superstition that Black cats are unlucky. And ,if you spill some salt, you will throw salt over your shoulder,it can avoid bad luck! Really? Do you believe in superstition?Give me some example,i want to find out more about supersition in your country.thank you!

Superstitions are nothing more than superstitions. Sometimes, they may seem so silly. I am not superstitious but there are some superstitions that I follow, not because I totally believe in them, but because I feel that it won't hurt to follow them. As long as they don't get in the way of the normal flow of your life, I don't see anything wrong with believing in them. Who knows, throwing salt over your shoulder may have just saved you from bad luck? hehehe

As far as I am concerned, I think I do not believe in the supertition at all in my country. I think we are living in the 21st century, which people are knowing a lot about the science and techology, which can help people deal with a lot of difficulties in our daily life, which is the necessary ones in life. With the help of science and techology , we become more developing and do not have the thought about the superstition at all. I think we are enjoying a nice day yet.

My answer to that question of urs is pretty simple. I dont. Its just that i believe we have our own destiny to follow and we dont need to be guided by those kinds of stuff. Besides if you do trust God then theres nothing more that you should be scared of or at least you should not trust any superstition if we believe God that much . Have a great day

Superstition can be found in any culture, even modern country which possess hi-technology there is superstition around. Let's say Japan, China, Korea, and even USA, they still believe in superstition. It is so hard to believe in superstition, but in some culture, especially in Asia, we can find and even see something unbelievable think, as in Bali, part of beautiful island in my country, Indonesia, there is a man called Ratu, he can control electrical power and fire, and he can light up water as we light up fuel using lighter. It's hard to understand but true. So, there is superstition out there, but it just a sign from the Creator of this universe that there is something that can't reach out by rational explanation.

in my country, oh yes they do believe in many superstitions, like, if you sneeze before going out then they will go back in and drink a glass of water or wait a few moments and then start again, it is believed that when you are going out on a work and some one sneezes then the work would be left in vain. we enter a place with our right foot first, it is believed to bring good luck. i think everyone knows this, people of old times took a cat in a ship when they were going on a voyage or to another place by a ship, it is believed to bring good luck in their journey. many believe and say that there were no cats on the titanic which drowned after hitting an ice-berg.

I dont really believe in superstitions, the only one that i do believe in (and have from a very early age) is not to walk under signs (the huge road signs which are held up by two steel poles and is a couple of metres long across) something along those lines, it is meant to be bad luck, i dont really know why but i have obeyed to never walk under them, but simply to walk around them.

I' am not a superstitious person, it is against the teachings of the bible. I guess superstition is common to all country. Here in the Philippines - A bride must not fit her gown before the wedding because the wedding may not happened or something will happen unexpectedly. Its up to a person's belief whether she will believe it or not.

Well for me, I don't believe on superstition beliefs because I didn't experienced those unless, it happened to me, I'll start to believing it... :D Here in Philippines, some of superstition beliefs: Pregnancy - A pregnant woman should not cut her hair, because she will give birth to a bald baby. Also, all windows and doors should be wide open for the laboring mother's easy delivery. General - Sleeping with wet hair makes one crazy. Parents who despise ugly children will bear an ugly child. Brides shouldn't try their wedding dress before the wedding day or the wedding will not push through.
