What does your mom do?

I came up with this topic cause I really miss my mom these days. I try to remember all the things that she does during the day. My mom is a professor in a certain University in my hometown and she gets to go to the university early in the morning. She stays there for the whole day but I always go there in the afternoon and ask her to buy me something and or sometimes if I have money, I also treat her out. She likes to go shopping with me and I really miss doing that with her. At this very moment, she is still at school cause she also goes home late. My mom is busy but I really appreciate the time that she spent with me. What does your mom do? Do you know her daily routine?

I have a very thoughtful mother, to the point of being too overprotective at times LOL. She doesn't have a job so she only does the chores everyday and prepares food for my sister who goes to work. She also plays cards always and watch TV series.

I think my mom is also thoughtful especially when it comes to financial matters. Even though I have a job, its not a very stable one since I would have to depend on the number of hours that I have to work in a month cause it always varies and my salary also varies. Even if I dont ask her for some money, she always gives me. I love my mom not because of that because my mom is a superwoman in all things that she does. I really want to go to my hometown now.

Aww, I hope you get to see her soon. It must be really bad to work in a company with bad management while you're away from your loved ones.

Its always good to keep on communicating with our loved ones especially our mothers. I think our mom's wanted us to remember them in the simplest way possible and it will make them happy.

Our mothers are great no matter what they do. Our mothers are not perfect but we are indeed lucky to have them. There are so many things that we can learn from them. They inspire us to do things.

My mom is a graphic designer, and a single parent. She is always busy with work or taking my sister to school functions, and often stressed out. I try to help with what I can, but my mom and I haven't had the perfect relationship.

Maybe for now you and your mom havent had the perfect relationship cause maybe both of you are trying to focus more on other things especially as you said she is a single parent. I do think your mom appreciates whatever it is that you do or her and the help that you extended for her.

Hey P!! My mom is just a very simple woman who dreamed of having very simple life with her family. Unfortunately certain events in our lifetime change it. She became the mother and father when my father had stroke. She sent 3 of us two school and 2 of us went to a private school during secondary school. She is the most compassionate and selfless person I've ever met. All she thinks and does is for our sake and not for her. She is the best mom in the world.

I think your mom is super. I think its not easy for her to be the mother and father at the same time. She deserves to be appreciated. I could just feel how much she loves all of you. She is a very good example.

My mom used to work in in an office at a company in our town and I used to visit her there every day during lunch when I got home from school. She just stopped working there last August and now she works for a bus company and drives disabled children to and from school every morning with my Dad. She also does all the household chores and likes surfing the net :)

Your mom is very active. I also went to my mom's work place before, I like going out with her cause she doesnt usually complain if I wanted to buy something or eat something. I just ask her to and yeah I really miss going out with my mom.

I am 55 years while my mom is 84 years.I was taken back to my good old younger days when I spent my time with her .Of course I often meet her and spend time talking to her.She lives alone but has a good caretaker.I have my own family .But still I talk to her on the phone or visit her .I take her something and she enjoys it.

My mom is an employee of a certain company near our school... well, my previous school. She's a BS Accountancy graduate and is very hardworking. She wakes up early in the morning to go to the other side of our lot. She'll release the dogs and start doing something... I don't really know what she does there since am still asleep at that time. All I know is that she always releases the dogs every morning. Once it's already 7 am, she'll start preparing to go to the office. She'll go with my dad. they work at the same company. They are both very hard-working. They always go for overtime.

you know, what! the way you described my mom brings back memories of mine. my mom is a retired university professor and i remember how me and my sister would stay with our mom till midnight while she finishes off her work at the office. aside from being a professor, she was also the head of the student affairs of their department and a writer. she finishes her job at the office because when she arrives at home, she switches off to being a mom and a wife. all office works are left in the office. i even remember and kinda miss checking students' exams, proof reading her books and articles, and just spending time with her... i'm now a wife of 13 yrs and a mother of 5 kids. my mom applied for early retirement when she saw her first grandchild (my eldest child), and finished off her career with a book that she dedicated to her beloved granddaughter! she may have been one of the greatest influence on me because i kept on seeking writing jobs and have had it done thru press releases, business correspondences, and published articles. oh dear, you just made my tears well up... KUDOS TO ALL MOTHERS!!!
