Ever had something painful wake you up? The other night I took some ibuprofen for a mild headache I had before bed. I went to sleep around 10:30pm. around 3 am I woke up with a bad headache.I am pretty certain it was the pain that woke me.

Two words for you. Charley Horses is a nasty pain that have woken me up at times. These things can be quite painful. Especially considering it hurts to even shift my leg. That stabbing pain right in the back of my leg that gets me up. It takes a while to walk it out as well and that's after I manage to coax myself out of bed to do so. And the worst thing is that they always tend to happen at the worst possible time. I mean this one hundred percent. At like three in the morning they happen. I am in a deep sleep and all of the sudden, a stabbing pain right in the back of my leg. I have no idea what flaming white hot knives in the back of my leg feels like, but I am pretty sure this is close enough. So yeah, I have had that thing happen before and it hurts like you would not believe.

Well I don't know if tmj migraine headache pain wakes me up but I have overactive bladder pretty bad and I will wake up when I have to go to the bathroom. But recently and many other times I noticed the migraine upon waking. I wake up with a tmj migraine many days out of the month. Some days my tmj migraine starts later in the day or the night. So I'm sick with these headaches pretty often and sometimes they are so painful that if they were any more painful I know I couldn't stand it like here recently. I fell off of a horse when I was like 15 I think and I didn't go for medical assistance at the time. In recent years I've had the mri's and my brain is fine. But I think my jaw is screwed up maybe from that accident way back over 35 yrs ago. My jaw feels like it really off or off somewhat. I get 8 prescription pain pills per month but I have many more headaches then that. Most over the counter pills do not work. There are a couple I did try that worked somewhat. I would say but I don't know if it's ok to say the names of over the counter medications here.

That does not sound like fun. I have woken up many times from pain. Most of the times it was pain from my legs and back. After my back operation, that was the worst time. Sleep for an hour and wake up from the pain. It was terrible. Migraines have woke me up too. Fortunately very few times. It is better to wake up without pain. Take care
