Who is your favorite Sesame Street character and why?

Sesame Street has been educating and entertaining children for many years. It is even offered in different languages. There are many wonderful characters to be found on Sesame Street. Who is your favoite character and why?

Bert and Ernie are a great combination for Sesame Street. I just loved them.

I always liked Big Bird the best growing up but there are just so many others that are cute too like Elmo, Cookie Monster and even Oscar the Grouch. Sesame Street is such a cute show and very great for kids. I havent seen the show in ages though. I watched it daily as a young kid. I miss it lol.

I was always a fan of Big Bird too. I think Sesame Street was one of the first tv shows I became attached to.

hi sender I have always loved Kermit and when he sang that song about rainbows I loved him more a nd I am not a child, I am an elderly woman who listened to Sesame Street with my children years back. I really like Kermit the best then Miss Piggy.Kermet protrayed some really deep feeling at times and that song was one that showed the beauty of Kermit the green frog.

i've always loved elmo and it seems way back then it was only me who was crazy over him. i was in my teens already when i fell in love with elmo. he's sweet and well, lovable. he never says i. he always says elmo. elmo loves to play. elmo loves bananas. elmo is sad. i am 35 now and i wasn't wrong in falling in love with this eternal 3 year old character since he is the main mascot or puppet of sesame street now. way back my time it was either ernie or big bird.

How could we know how big Elmo would become? One of my favorite paarts of Sesame Street was the antics between Bert and Ernie. They really made me laugh.

I have always loved Sesame Street . . . I grew up with them and now my kids are too. I have many favorites, but if I can only pick one, it'd probably be Cookie Monster. He has funny logic when it comes to eating cookies - a one track mind - and I can be that way too - hee hee.
