I was reading Guideposts today, I just love that magazine, and saw a short notice about this site: http://www.replyforall.com/how_it_works/ You sign up and it adds a small ad at the bottom of your emails in exchange for the sponsor donating to good causes like the environment, children, AIDS, cancer, animals, etc. It works with just about any email program. I think I'll be signing up for this. I love giving to good causes but I don't have as much money to give as I would like and this will help!

Well I added it. I'll wait and see if it really works! It was really simple too, that's good! I picked the help animal rights one (of course) lol. I kind of which we could pick SPECIFIC organizations to help, that would be awesome!

I'm big on helping animals, too. They have a children's cause there, too, that I would be interested in but I think there are too few people helping animals. Tons of agencies for kids but very few for our furry friends.

Yeah I had to think about it for a while..kids or animals...and like you, I figured there were more animals that need help, and fewer people that are doing it.

I only subscribe to 2 magazines, the other is Reader's Digest. I love Guideposts, didn't know they had a sister magazine. I like to pass mine on to the nursing home.

Thank you very much for the information. I will certainly take a look at it. I have been making donations to organizations which are helping needy people in countries around the world, e.g. World Vision, Red Cross. They are doing a wonder job helping and taking care of the communities.

dragon54u I agree that sounds like a lovely idea to me and costs you nothing.I too do not have a lot of money and cannot donate like I would like to do , this would be a boon to a lot of people.

I wish I could give more, most of us do. Money is so tight these days! And without a job, I've had to severely curtail my giving which really distresses me. Things like this help. We all need to give, it's good for the soul and the spirit. So it's nice to find ways like this!

This is such a good idea, please let me know how it works out. I would also like to know if you can get rid of it in the future. Sorry, I have been burned to many times to trust these types of things. But if it wowrks well would be happy to use it also.
