Hello everyone, I need a favour from you all , If you have good knowledge about Canon printers please tell me whats the problem is I have Canon ip1300 printer , it is just 7months old now it is not working as it shows a error of " Your catridge cannot be recognised , check weather it is installed properly or not " what is this error ? how to solve this ?? I dont think it's coz of Low Ink , there is sufficient ink in it . Please suggest me , iam breaking my head from 2days ...

I think this is a cartridge problem.. try checking the cartridge, pull it out.. and check it.. or try replacing it.. For more details just called your printer supplier.. i know they can answer your concern.. Hii pals101 , Nice info but my problem is still unsolved :( Is this error occur , - For Low Ink in catridge . - Will catridges have expiry date ?? its just 7months from date of purchase . Please help needed . Thanks

Usually printer cartridge are easily damage especially when the printer is open used.. Check this link for more troubleshooting... http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/forums/inkjet/26232

Maybe the sensor is not working from the cartridge compartment. If it is not recognized it, it is probably the sensor is not working. I don't know if I suggest you to bring it to get it fixed or purchase a new one. Because most of those printers are free now. So, you might as well get a cheaper one like $30 or above.
