What will you think of when you look up and see the cloud on the sky ?

When we were young ,we were full of imagination.We would looked up and see the clouds keep moving slowly in the sky.We would imagine from its shape and made up a story about this clouds.For example,I would imagine there was an moving ice cream up there and moving closer to me from a far distance.Whe it was getting closer and when I was trying to eat this flying ice cream,the shape of thsi cloud starter to change into an apple.I am sure you will have lots to share about this experience.But when we grow up,the cloud seems less attractive.why? Perhaps we jsut don't hav etime to see them anymore and put our imagination in it any longer.Because we will only focis on reality and we are so busy all the times.We may bot even have too much time to look up and appricaite the sky is there.I guess we need to take a good look inthe sky again and see what comes to our mind again.It is fun anyway. ^_^ Share about your experience.

When I was young I though clouds are giant cottons and they are where the angels sleep. I was also then wishing I have wings so I could fly and play around the clouds. The white color and its very soft appearance make clouds really fascinating to me. Now that I am old enough to understand I still am awed by the beauty of the clouds but I no longer think they are cotton candies nor even imagine the angels are sleeping on them but rather I now consider the clouds as one of the wonderful creations of God. I also have to tendency to look beyond the clouds. I imagine what is there after those thick clouds. I believe there are a lot more awesome and surprising things up there.

I'd like to add that clouds form various images and it could be very entertaining to look at time for long and find out what those forms are.

you know your all discussions are very intrested and i feel to respond you.sometimes after dinner i walk in the upstairs and i also feel like stars are like monkey sometimes i miss my cousin so much and i call her she said to me that you see the moon and feel that i talk to you and you shocked i really feel that she talk me in the night even she leaves out of country.

Hey, I enjoy watching stars as well and always remember the ole little song: Twinkle little stars.you know"twinkle twinkle little star, how I wonder what you are."
I enjoy posting on mylot when I feel bore , unhappy and sometimes happy as well.It really is a great place for social network and chat with friends from all over the world.The only unhappiness is that " I still looking for a job that can really help me to survive" Then , I don't have to make a few bucks from mylot anymore. But well,i think I won't forget about mylot even when I am rich. It is because mylot help me to go through the tough time of my life and I think I will post more in this place. You are right friend, our childhood has gone and with it has gone our peace and fun.... like you, I too use to imagine different stories while looking at the clouds. Always felt as if clouds were walking with me. when you look out of the window while travelling, it looks like whole nature is travelling with us.
White clouds always looked like soft cotton bed which sometimes took shape of Santa clause or some other beard old man sitting in the sky....
I am a great lover of nature. I think the creator of this earth is the best artist.
We are blessed by so much natural beauty for which I feel very lucky to have been born as human, to enjoy this gift of nature.Sometimes when I go for walks and look at the sky.....I automatically come out with some poetic words or start humming some nice old song....lol..It happens naturally because nature gives us peace.

Our childhood is something that we all have to treasure about. Except that there were some unhappy childhood that people wanted to forget about.I still remember those happy moment while I was a kid and playing soccer all the times with our kids. I also enjoyed the food along the street after school and I could walked around with some of my friends after school as well.I didn't know that was really dangerous thing to do when we had no parents with us at that time.I understand it now but it was never danger when we were only a kid. It is because there were just so many kids like that in the community and nobody even border go to hurt them .Now I would never think that it was fun for a kid to walk alone or go to school by himself when he is still young.Anyway, it is history of my life and I can still remember every single details about it.I think that the kids in today's world is over protected that they don't know how to do many things which they suppose to know and I think we should teach our kids to take up some task at home and they will grow up with some basic skills .Happy mylot.

Whenever I see the clouds in the sky , I think of free life could be if we weren't so materialist and love title . I would just wonder if if one day when we are finish with this life , will I be siting on the clouds and at rest .

Your discussion made me to go back 40 years when I also used to imagine as you told.When the whole sky was without clouds it has its own beauty and when clouded this has its own beauty.
Yes when I used to fly those days we had only black and white film and would be satisfied with that taking pictures from the flight,and this type of advance reservation was less and I preferred to get a window seat and wold capture beautiful cloud formations and here the views were so much imaginative.I just wanted to go out of the window and walk on the clouds.
These were the childish imaginations.
Any how I am a nature lover and love in this way.

Yes, cloud watching is just so wonderful experience and I still do it almost every night. Recently, I have a nice experience in watching the cloud. It was about two weeks ago when it is the moon festival in my country.According to our culture, we will eat something called moon cake at that night and watch the moon with all kinds of good fruit in front of us.The children usually will carry funny lamp that would make up with all kinds of creativity such as butterfly, rabbit and anything you can name it. They will walk around with other kid and have fun together. It is always a happy experience for us to see the moon high up hanging on the sky and everybody will be happy about this.Well, that's it for now and enjoy your sunshine as well.Happy mylot.

well every time i look up and see the clouds i can see the hands of God embracing me in my sadness and fill me with love to free myself from it... i sometimes see a light that shows every step that i take.. i look up in the clouds and relive myself of worries and fears....

Well,your sharing looks quite spiritual and I agree with that.If everyone look up the sky will have your feeling,i think they will be getting closer to God and accpet Jesus as their own personal saviour very soon.Well,besides spiritual zone,our imagination is also an interseting thing.Some people can look up and feel that special cloud looked like a dog.It is interesting to see things like that in our mind.it will make us feel this world can be more lovely under God's creation.

I felt a sigh of relief every time I looked up and see cloud in the sky. It feels I am completely at peace and relax. I never treated clouds as negative or sign of sadness, I treated it as part of freedom, peace from deep within. So every time I am sad, frustrated and lonely, I just look up the sky and don't care what I see there, as long as I see the sky. It is always a good respite to see the beautiful horizon.

I will be so happy !!.Right now in India its summer season going on and temperature every noon is hitting 40 degree mark.Its hell here now a days.Few days ago we received little rain in the evening but it wasnt enough to cool all environment down.I really wish some intense rain for one or two hour.That will be pleasure.

For me when I see the clouds in the sky, it reminds me of how insignificant I really am in the grand scheme of things. It is something that really puts me in my place. However, for my seven year old daughter, she recognizes shapes in the clouds, just yesterday we were driving to a friend's house and she saw a cloud that looked like the state of Kentucky. We had a nice discussion about this. I love seeing the ways that her imagination works.

As far as I can remember, when i was still a small child... I imagine things while looking at the sky. I think that clouds shape like a whale, a bird, and sometimes, even a dragon. It's really fun. I've got to admit.

Your discussion just reminds me of the old time. What was my last memory about the clouds? What was the last time I stopped to look up at the sky and enjoy them? White and fluffy clouds on sunny day, rosy clouds just before sunset, how beautiful they are! But now, they are no more than passer-bys in my life. Am I oblivious of them or are they ignoring me?

At my age of 36, every time I look up at the sky, I think of the future. The clouds do remind me that I am not getting any younger and sooner or later, I may have to meet my maker. This becomes a symbol for me to establish my kids and family... their future. I only have one life to live and with that fact, I would have to make the most of it. "Live life, Love life!" And while doing so, sowing for the future would help my children to reap those efforts. These clouds constantly reminds me that I exist in this world for a purpose, and that is to ensure the future of my kids before i join the clouds. :)

hmmm.. Lately, everytime I look at the clouds I think of twilight.. I'm 'Bella' and ?? is 'Edward' because I remember when they layed in the meadow together..
I imagine us laying down in the soft green grass all day looking at the clouds, hm welll I unno. I don't have much of an imagination right now.. anyways and then once the white fluffy clouds are gone, we would sit and watch the stars come in and light up the dark night.
