Please treat your pets well

Today I feel so moved to read it: 1. My life likely to last ten to fifteen years. Any separation from you will be painful for me. Remember that before you buy me. 2. Give me time to understand what you want of me. 3. Don't be angry for me for long and don't lock me up as punishment. You have your work,your entertainment and your firends. I have only you. 4. Talk to me sometimes. Even if I don't understand your words. I understand your voice when it's speaking to me. 5. Be aware that however you treat me, I'll never forget it and if it's cruel it may affect me forever 6. Remember before you hit me that I have teeth that could easily crush the bones of your hand,but that I choose not to bite you. 7. Before you scold me for being uncooperative,please ask yourself if something might be bothering me. Perhaps I'm not getting the right food,or I've been run in the sun too long or my heart is getting old and weak. 8. Take care of me when I get old. You too,will grow old. 9. Go with me on difficult journeys. Never say I can't bear to watch it or let it happen in my absent. Everything is easily for me if you are there. Remember,I love you.

I know being a good master needs lots of responsibilities. So if you are not ready for it, it is better not to have a pet at home.

you are right . we should be responsiable for our behavior. I am not suitable to take care of pets . I can not take care of myself well .

Lovely! I hope that all people who have pets here are really serious in taking care of their pets and treating them as their own family. We do have cats in the house and when I read your post, I was checking it one by one if I am really observing that

. I think I need to post this in our place

so that other people might read and also I will let them remember that pets are also created by God and they have a purpose also that is why they are given to us. Happy Mylotting!

i'm not a pet lover... but i love your post... thanks for reminding the other pet owners here to treat their pets nicer... pets are living beings as well and they deserved to be treated well... hopefully other pet owners here will read this post and share it with their friends as well... take care and have a nice day...

Aw, this is so touching. I agree. This is how we should treat our pets. They may not speak our language but just like us, they also have feelings. We should be there for each other.

I love it, I'm a pet lover myself. I have 6 dogs and 2 cats. All of them are well-loved by the family members. This is a wake-up call to those pet owners who just take care of pets because they are breeding them and then sell for an amount. They don't even check how their pets are feeling, they keep them in cages and just wait for their pets to be in heat. I don't have anything against them, but please, treat these breeding pets well since you have made them your source of income. Shower them with your love and attention, they too can feel what us people feel.

Mine one, a pet dog eats up snacks offered only upon viewing its master consume at least a bit of the offered food. Strange..yet shows its love and propriety.

youless, This is indeed a very touching reminder. I feel that a lot of pet owners today are being temperamental to the effect that they forget that when they bring a pet home, it is not only love but a lifetime commitment to it. Nowadays, I just cannot bear to see the number of pets being abandoned when their owners move their residence or are being ill treated due to mood swings during these challenging times. I hope that this message will bring across some awareness for pet owners to open up more of their hearts to their pets at home.

I also feel moved to it. One of my cats is over 18 years old and he still seems to have a long life. If one day he is gone, be sure I will be quite sad to it as we all regard it as a member of our family.

youless, One of the reasons for his longevity is the fact that he is really in very good hands. I am sure he is really grateful and much loved at home. So, keep up the good work and enjoy the company whilst it last.

Thank you for posting this, youless! It is so good and so moving! I have pets and I always try to treat them good. I grew up on a farm and always had pets. There are so many animals that are abused and it's so sad. Maybe this will wake some people up. Kathy.

i always remember that. i love my pets so much and i know how it feels. im a dog lover and i love them so much, and i understand how they feel... people should not be cruel to animals, they have feelings too. lets love them like a family.

Thanks for your articles. I have two turtles at home. At first, i really like playing with them. I over fed them, and i spent most of time with them. But as time goes by, i start to not care about them. Now it is rare for me to play with them. Most of the time, my mom is the one who fed them. Well, thanks for this, i might start play with them again.

Aww that is so sweet! I love my pets and cherish them. I have four cats and they are all amazing and unique in their own way. I hate seeing the abuse of pets, it breaks my heart! I really wish I could give every animal a home in this world, but its just not possible for one person to accomplish that.
