Hi, We all may faced a mental stress due to any reason.May be work related or relationship.Stress is a major cause of many damages in the brain and body too.Which is the easiest way to come out of stress and get relaxed?

Stressed actually can caused you depression if you cannot overcome and find some outlet how to get out of it.The best way to overcome stressed is find someone talk to if can't find someone talk to God and share your feelings,problems to him and He will comfort and guide you and give you peace of mind.If you want to relaxed go out with your friends & family have some fun or go to the beach especially right now its summer time.Sometimes you involve in any activities like sports or in an organization that fitted to you.Hope you find some ways to enjoy your life.God Bless

Getting enough sleep means a lot to me. It makes or breaks my day. It gives me strength to face any stress to make the going bearable. Six to eight hours of sleep would be very comfortable and make my mind sharp. If I don't get enough an afternoon nap of up to one hour is a refreshing welcome. I do simple physical and breathing exercises every morning for up to 20 minutes. I take short breaks and walks between my work. And above all I try to think as positive as possible.

When I had a stressful meeting to go to every Monday evening I used to cycle home from it. I was able to ride my bike down a lovely cycle path with gorgeous country views. On the way home I could throw away all that stress. In my student days I found life very stressful in the lead up to exams. I found that a walk along the coastline helped. I could sit on the pier and read my study notes. I could see the ocean and hear the waves. It uplifted my mood. These days in order to relax I take a long hot bath with lavender. It smells so wonderful and makes me get more relaxed. I like to go for a walk with my two dogs across the fields or to take them by car to the beach. Then we walk across the sandy beach and my dogs race up and down the sand dunes. When I feel stressed reading a novel can help take me to a different place. I can always take a day out to a place of interest. I like to plan my next vacation or think about future travels.

The best way to relax the mind is to do that which soothes you.In my case if i listen to pleasant music i get transported to a different world and forget all my stress and strain.But I've heard from many people that if one is under stress and tension then meditation helps.Breathing exercises also soothe us and relax us removing stress from our lives.If none of these appeal to you i'd request you to do any activity or hobby you find relaxing.If stress is work related then if possible avoid the stressful part or if possible gain additional qualification in a subject of your interest and make a change in jobs.If the stress is due to relationship try to talk to your partner and iron out the differences or try to come to an understanding that we'll respect each others rights and privacy to improve oneself.

Listening to music or reading a favorite novel are the best ways to relax the mind. Listening to music is tranquil and lets you float. We have so many complications throughout our day. Something so simple is all we need to wind down.

Close your eyes and breathe- just breathe..take deep breaths...and just relax. You can drink more water too- to put oxygen inside your body. Or you can sleep to forget all of the problems..

I like having a bath and if that fails then I tend to listen to music, both of these are very effective and I think that it would be hard to choose which was better. I like my baths, as I could soak in one for many hours and often enough I do. I think it's more of case of trying to find alternatives to relaxing as well because somethings these aren't always an option. Happy mylotting

when i am really stressed i read my Bible & pray & leave it in God's hands. also, i like to go for a ride in the country in the pretty sunshine & not talk abt any problems with my husband, only discuss anything except problems. sometimes it is just good to get out of the house & just laugh & act silly together.

I usually just lay down and close my eyes listening to music. It is the best way to relax. Especially when you are listening to soft instrumental music. Awesome effect it has.

Whenever I am stressed and mentally exhausted I close all the doors and windows of a room,switch off the lights then I put some light music and relax on the bed.When on bed I try to forget all my worries and make the mind blank.This works great for me .

A glass of water. A warm bath, apply a refreshing cologne or lotion. Inspirational or relaxing music, or just keep silent and forget about the worries. Pray and talk to God, thank Him of all the blessings received and reflect.

A nice hot bath, get in some cosy clothes, relax and pray...even if you just pray for relaxation! Its also nice to have a massage or big long chat or cry to a loved one or someone you really trust. Sometimes I find going for a walk and just letting my mind wander is good too.

When I'm stressed out, I go out and look for a quiet place where there is a lot of nature. They say green relaxes the senses, and it certainly helps with me. If you couldn't do that, find something funny around you. I find that laughing relaxes me and then I could face whatever I need to do again. When I'm in the house, playing with my pet dog really helps a lot, too. I hope this helps you out.

First let me say~What a beautiful sunset picture you have there! When I'm really stressed, I'll take a long hot bubble bath, then watch a movie to take my mind off things...then I'll turn in around 9 and get a good nights sleep. I also go to the beach on the weekend and soak up the sun and enjoy nature-it really does wonders-the crashing of the waves...the fresh air! I've been doing this a lot lately as I've been worried about money-I'm self employed and there's been a lot of people cutting the service industry-it's hard to make ends meet.

For me the best way to relax and forget about stress is going in the middle of the nature. I think not all ways of relaxing can apply to everybody. Each person has different mechanism their feel of pleasure and relaxing work. As for me, I go on a trip to the forest to gather wild flowers or mushrooms or to a lake for fishing. So all my stressful thoughts or situations are far away.

It depend on the person. For me, start slow favorite music and switch of the light, give deep thought to the problem and try to resolve. Finding the reason of the stress and resolving that is the best way to come out of it. I believe that there has to be solution to every problem, its hidden till the time we get to know it. Different people have different ways to cope with stress at home or at work. Let me share to you my ways of coping with stress. When I'm stressed at work I take a break with my friends. Coffee Break + friends + a good conversation with them relaxes my mind. My other means of coping with stress is having a deep and good sleep. Sometimes I just unwind by going to the mall, dine out with friens and family or watch a movie in a cinema. I also go out of town with friends or family. Taking a vacation somewhere at the countryside or at a beach resort also makes me forget stress. :) However, my best stress reliever right now is playing with my 7 months old baby. Have a happy day!

I think doing Yoga Regularly can help reduce stress. Apart from this listening to music, playing outdoor games, swimming can also help in reducing stress
