sometimes when i'm free from work,i usually spend my time at home. relaxing myself, when i feel like watching movies dvd or vcd,i'd do it! sometimes i do the laundry and take the rest whole day after doing household chores! but when i felt bored i'd call on my friends if they're also free then we'll meet up at a certain mall and hang out.or it can be we'll get together with friends and stay at their house eat snacks while having conversations or watch movie also at their house!pretty cool stuff bonding moments. it's really fun when spending your free time with friends specially now that we've been almost seeing each other once in a year! sometimes i really do miss them, the times when we're together, bonding moments and sharing laughters and tears with each other!now,we only got to talk on phone.no time for meeting up!

Hello lxwxy, welcome to mylot. For me, with a one day off, I would mostly spend it at home. I would rather spend the time with my family at home, since I have to be back at work by tomorrow then. I would spend quality time and take some good rest. If I got enough money then most probably we will all go together maybe watch movie, go for swimming in beach or go on shopping but that still be with the whole family. Great weekend to you and Happy mylotting.

If I had one day off from my job I would spend it by sleeping in that day, cleaning the house and then go hang out and go shopping with friends or family. Or just go outdoors and enjoy the nice weather! I take days off here and there just to relax and not worry about anything. I'm glad we have weekends off but weekends don't cut it because they always go by way to fast. Pretty soon I'm takinga week off in June and one in Sept just to sit by the pool and relax and have some drinks and not think about anything. What a beauty that will be!

Hmm, it would depend on your preferences and your lifestyle. I dont mind having to work the full eight average hours as long as I get to have one day all to myself. You see I dont like going out of the house everyday. I have to have at least one day just lounging around the house and just be lazy for that full day. During work days, I would give it my all and I would do everything that is required of me without complaining. Of course its a different matter when it comes to holidays. I would prefer to have enough amount of time for those special holidays where I could spend time with my family. It would be the only quality time that Id get to have with them anyways given the crazy work hours and days that is asked of me. Then again, that's just me.^_^ So, for your one day, you can do all the things that you neglect doing because of work. Do those things that you've always wanted to do and make the most of your time. Or spend it like me, lounge around the house, relaxing as much as possible and think about nothing major. Goodluck and have fun!

Hi lxwxy, If there is only one day off the duty, I will stay at home. Or watching a moive with friends is also a good chioce. May you a nice rest-day. PS: In my company, we always have more holidays than others. But most of time, I will stay at home chatting, surfing the net, or just sleeping.I actually do not like travelling.

have different activities with your family, not just the stay at home type to maximize your once a week free time. but one day is such a short time. better yet, why not try to look for jobs or put up your own business? me, i wanted to spend every minute i could with my family so i left the company i worked for and am just currently doing freelance marketing, printing & events projects. if you're in the philippines, you can probably do some racket also. contact me if interested!

If I was working very hard at work and I only had one day free I would go on a day trip to a favorite place. It would be within easy driving distance from where I live. The ideal choice would be Glastonbury. I would be able to climb to the top of the Tor for amazing views, visit the crystal shops and go to the old abbey. I would make sure I took my camera with me. Then I would be able to take some photos. I could get my photos developed one day after work the next week. That would give me something to look forward to.

Good day to you lxwxy2010, With reference to your question, I prefer to do some picture taking and photography session. I feel so relax whenever I do picture taking though in reality, it was a tiring activity. Thank you.

If I had work and I was given the opportunity of only 1 day out of work, I'd spend that day having some fun time with my family and go to places that we find interesting and fun too.

The most possible to spending my free one day is just to the near place. In this case I will decide to spending my time to go to "puncak". It just 2 hours from my place. it's located at west java, Indonesia, a place where you can look many big mountains with tea plantations around the mountain. And it's fell so peacefully being there. I just want take breath a while, get free from my activities even just for a day.

there's a fishing place near where i live that i head off too when i really need a break. doesn't need to be a long break, but those little 'recharge' sessions always perk me up enough :)
