Usually I can come up with something to share or question but today it's just a blank. I know there are floods, storms and even a car being blown up in New York City. Now that was one sloppy mess, thank God for that. My mind seems to feel this is just one blah Monday. Do you have days like this?

The first day of the week is always dull as our stamina has been absorbed during the weekends.

That is so true... So it's either fridays or mondays. Monday syndrome because we are all too exhausted partying. Fridays... the end of the work day -- and we are sooo looking forward to doing those things that would totally burn us out and give us the monday syndrome.

I could come up with discussions, but do not really want to right now. Everything in my house has decided to break in the same moment, and I am just tired of it. I need a mental vacation. I guess the answer is "yes" I sometimes have a blah day.

Hehe, I can relate to this. I'm horrible now with MyLot - I only come on about once a week. (Sometimes more than that, but usually for less than 5 minutes - just to check responses to my discussions.) So, I'm the opposite way - I have all of this bottled up anger, depression, excitement, and all kinds of topics to write about - just because I don't come on here every day. Back when I used to LIVE on the MyLot discussion boards (many months ago..) I would come on for at least an hour a day and manage to start discussions about.. pretty much anything. or nothing. Whatever. lol. It's hard when you come on often - because for some reason it's so much harder to come up with original and striking discussions. Ahh. But hopefully something will come to you - if not, just respond to discussions until you get inspired, perhaps?

I have had days like this. On some days, i would be bored to respond to discussions, so I would think to start a new discussion. But unfortunately, I would not get a single topic to start one. Even after continuous thoughts, I would not get a single catch line for starting a discussion. Many times, at this point, I would drop the idea of starting a discussion and be back again to respond to others' discussions. This has happened many times. I think responding to other's discussions is more easier than starting one..

Haha, often, but having no idea could be the topic too! Like what you're doing right now. For me, if i don't have any idea of my own, i'll read some good articles in my magazines, and suddenly something will pop up into my mind. A good sleep might do help me get ideas too.

just like the others, i believe that Monday is dull because of the weekend that past. most of the people got too busy on those days and they feel tired on Monday. something that we can say, "hard to restart" on this day.

I just ‘don’t have it’ some days and not just Mondays! I love to write and can go for days with fantastic ideas that I can’t seem to stop typing and then...Brick wall, nothing for ages! It happens to me on MyLot as well; some days I am just not in the mood and my mind is indeed blank so I can relate. The ideas will come again; they just don’t like to be forced!

Yes, I sure do. Most of the time, I rack my brain trying to come up with a good topic of conversation, but my mind just draws a total blank. It get so frustrating when that happens, but I just do the best I can, and hope for the best as well. I haven't started all that many discussions, and at least none of them have zero responses, and I am so glad for that. Now, there are some discussions, I was hoping for more responses than I received, and others I got more than I thought I would. It just depends on the discussion and the interest in it. I would rather respond to other discussions where I don't have to think of a topic, which makes it much easier for me that way. I think we all have those blah days, probably more than we should, but mylot is still a good place to be in spite of it. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.
