Is that a light at the end of the tunnel?

Or is it an oncoming train - Light at the end of the tunnel

I don’t know whatever troubles or trials you’re going through, but I hope you would be able to relate to this discussion. The past couple of years have been pretty hard for me and my family, but it looks like there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Although I’m still not sure whether it’s an oncoming train or not. I’m still crossing my fingers. And for now, I’m just holding my breath. I’ve exhaled a bit here in myLot with this discussion because I’m already blue in the face, and frankly I’m getting impatient. How about you? Are you feeling the same way? You don’t have to go into specific details if you don’t want to. I just want to know if anybody else can relate to this feeling. Thanks.

Thanks M. I'm sure that just by the act of sending me good wishes, will surely develop in good wishes for yourself too!

Hi bounce. I can relate to this discussion (you know very well). The trial that I underwent earlier this year may not be as long compared to years of trials or troubles... But the pain that this trial brought me made me feel before that recovery may not be possible in the near future. However, God is truly good. He made me feel that there is a light at the end of the tunnel, that there is sunshine after the storm. After all those tears and suffering, I can now laugh and enjoy. I may not be able to forget easily all those pain, but there is always that reassurance that God loves me because of all the blessings that he gave me.

Hi arystine. I'm sure that the tunnel you just came out of wouldn't be the last in your life. Surely, there will be others down the road. But this last one was a particularly dark and long one. So, take comfort in knowing that you've pulled through with this one. And take with you the lessons that you've learned. And that God does really love you. Goodluck!

I see the light, but I am still in the tunnel. :-)

Keep stepping forward, the end will surely come (of the tunnel, I mean).

I can totally relate to this. All i can say is keep walking down that tunnel. It has and ending and you'll never know if it's the end of it if you just stop. Keep moving and you'll eventually get to the end of it.

I have no choice. Even if I would be fearful that it is an oncoming train, the prospect of it being the end of the tunnel would push me to keep walking. Hopefully it has a happy ending. Thanks, and hope you get to the end of your tunnel too!

I completely understand what you are saying, I live day by day (literally) when it comes to money. There is never enough and I am always having to borrow from Peter to pay Paul. But, the only thing that gets me through each day is that I am lucky enough to have survived it and that if I continue to work hard I will be successful. I actually wrote that on a piece of paper and stuck it on my wall a few minutes ago - "Work Hard EVERY DAY And You WILL Be Successful". Sometimes it would be easier to throw in the towel on my desires and get a "regular" job (I work exclusively online) but then I remember that even with a regular job I was forced to get food stamps (which I no longer receive) and it brought tears to my eyes whenever one of my kids needed a new pair of shoes (that still happens). I may have to buy food for each day with only 5 or 6 dollars, but I am able to feed my family and keep a roof over their heads. And, as long as I don't ever give up I WILL be successful.

I would say that I've gone through similar troubles. It is always something about money... And like you, I did what I had to do. I had to shuffle debts around just to make do. Anyway, I'm still crossing my fingers. And hoping that this will all come to pass. Thanks for the response. Welcome to myLot. And goodluck to you!
