Do you believe in Karma?

I just had a recent situation in my life that made me wish bad karma on the person that hurt me. What this person did to me was very unacceptable from my standpoint. The way she handled it i felt could of been done just between her and I but instead she got many other people involved which irritated the heck out of me and made me angry. So I wished for something bad to happen back to her. Does one have to wish for the bad karma to return to the person that handed it out? Or do you think it will just happen?

You cannot 'wish bad karma' on someone. That is not the way karma works and, in fact, if you do that, you simply pile 'bad karma' on yourself. The principle is recognised in nearly all religions (probably all, but I don't know enough about some to say) but is described in very different ways in each.

I don't necessary believe in Karma BUT I believe in the law of sowing and reaping. SO if you sow bad you will reap bad, but if you sow good you will reap good. I think you should let the hurt go because it will only eat you up. This person will reap what they have sown but please try to forgive them.

I think that Karma really just happens to a person whether it's good or bad. It seems to keep tabs on a person and knows just when to hit them. I'm sure with you throwing a wish in there just put the icing on the cake (so to speak) Don't worry she will get karma Have a nice day

No I don't think so it's just people who do so, it's the consequences of wrongs deeds, decisions that we've made. So it is part of it and it's fact that we need to expect if we try to do sins and it's consequences not a KARMA.

unfortunately in the regards of Karma I am a Christian who believes in it. The strange thing about Karma is that if you wish bad Karma on someone who has done something to you I feel that eventually it will backfire on you. If you let things take the natural course of events Karma then is a natural circumstance or consequence of that person's action.

If you wish it on her, it might rebound back on you. Just let it happen...

Karma is very true. In Christianity, the adage is Do not do unto others what you do not want to be done unto you. Or that could be stated in the positive. The wishing or the cursing is not necessary. Things will just unfold. But if I were you, no matter how bad that person is to you, I will take back the bad wishes. We are always told Be careful what you wish for. Just let her come to terms with herself when her karma hits her.

hi sjohnson628, With reference to your query, yes I do believe in "Karma". And there are 2 types of karma - the good and bad karma - . According to the Golden Rule - "Do not do unto others what you do not want done unto you". This simple rule means a lot but it has a deeper meaning. In life, if you do something wrong towards others, you'll never know when you will pay for that, sometimes, bad karma comes during the time that you do not expect it. So as the good karma, there will come a time, that you feel sad and lonely, however, since you do and give out your best, then something good will happen in unexpected time.

i don't think one can wish bad karma for another person; it will just happen . when a person does a bad deed, it will have repercussions and eventually get back to that person. what goes around comes around.

Yes I do wish bad karma to some people. But sometimes karma needs a little push. I also believe a eye for a eye!

It just happen. Karma is like cause and effect, when you decide to do something wrong, then it will happen. When you plan to do something good to happen then the result is goodness too. Whenever do something there are reason behind and the result depends on our decision. Sometimes we do not have a control over the result. Well how many times i wished that a certain enemy will meet an accident after hurting my family, but it does not happen. Maybe he or she is taking care of himself to avoid accidents.

Karma isn't something you send, its the law of reaction therefore any good or bad deeds you do you end up paying for. The best thing you can do is find it in yourself to forgive the other person as anger is a destructive and negative emotion. Just think what goes around comes around and cheer your self up by spending time with people you like!

I don't believe on bad karma, what I believe is that 'what she does she gets'. And to set you free with a peaceful mind try to clarify everything and accept all the fouls lying on. That's our life coupled with mess.

Karma will happen in unpredictable time, place and condition. Don't ever think to wished to someone who had hurt you to get her karma. Just wish a good thing for her, it will makes yourselve more value. When you wish someone bad, it means you totally not different with her. However, the karma still can't run away from her life and will get her no matter how.

Yes. I believe in karma. Don't be happy with people's misfortunes or don't wish for misfortune to happen to them. You could be punished.
