Okay I know I could have used the weight loss thing would have been better for me to use but I have found that not that many people use that one as much as this one.. So heres the deal.. I want to exercise but umm.. I ain't so good at it.. I am pregnant and yes I know that I can't do too much and I really don't plan on it.. but the deal is I find that women worry about there weight more even the ones like me who are over wight but just suck at fixing it.. because even if I am not pregnant I am not skinny or slender or any word in the english languge that resembles being healthy.. and this is going to sound bad.. I am not so much worried about the health part of being overwieght as I am the emtional part because if you have ever been slighty overwieght there seems to be alot of anziety that goes with it.. So what I would like to do is start using mylot as my motivator.. and I was hoping to find a few big beauty women to help me out.. What I want to do is maybe 3 times a week exercise and then right a discussions on how it went on this little icon dilly ( the women one) and then all of us who are in the same boat can tell you good job and all that good stuff. Now the deal is don't worry about wieght loss worry about exercise.. I say this because I always find that after I exercise I feel really good about myself even if those moments are few and far between... So this is not about health or beauty it is about feeling better about your self.. So whos with me.. write and let me no or if you want just a couple times outta the week make a post about it and I will do my best to write back..

Well, I never liked to exercise before, and I went from 120 after my first son, to 150 after my second son....to 180 when my sons were teenagers and I was 43. I developed a painful problem in my shoulder and had to start exercising at physical therapy. The orthopedic doctor I saw was so arrogant and rude, and he said if I never want to see him again, I need to start exercising regularly. Well, I definitely never wanted to see him again, so I joined a gym....for my shoulder. But they set me up with a routine to do, and I went 5 days a week, and while I was there doing the machines for my shoulders, I also walked on the treadmill. At first I could only endure walking for 5 minutes. After a couple times I got up to 10 minutes. Then 15, 20, and eventually 30 or 45 minutes. I lost 20 pounds in a few months. I only drank water during all that time too. I stopped drinking soda. My mother had a stroke this winter and I only got to the gym once or twice a week and I didn't lose any more weight but I stayed the same. Now I'm back to going 5 days a week and walking on the treadmill or the eliptical machine 30 minutes each time and I lost a couple more pounds in the last couple weeks. I think the key is to sweat on the tredmill or eliptical for at least 30 mins 5 days a week and drink only water. Other than that, I didn't really change what I ate or anything. I really feel better, sleep better, and feel younger than before.

hi LillyBelleDaisyRose count me in I weight 214 and need to get down to 160 for my diabetes sake so I can more easily get around and also control my blood sugar too. I need to find some mild exercise I can do that will not bother my bad foot, but I can at least walk back and forth outside on the sidewalk and g et in at least a half hour of exercise. I really am serious on this. now as a diabetic I want to caution you, overweight can and often does lead to type two diabetes so if there is anyone with it in your family background it would be great for you to just lose ten percent of your overweight. as that will keep you from contracting diabetes.it seems the fat cells in our bodies interfere with the insulin carrying sugar into our muscles so the sugar instead builds up in our bloodstreams where it is not supposed to be. we need it in our muscles to nourish us daily so we have energy to get around and live our lives. good luck God Bless.

Great, I'll join you as I'm very overweight myself. I joined a gym at the beginning of the year, but have been struggling to get into a routine. I am also trying to break the habit of eating junk food. This week was a good week regarding my exercise as I got to exercise 3 times. Since I hadn't been exercising for some time, I am starting off slowly, 20 minute walk on the treadmill and some weight machines, plus/minus an hour workout. Hopefully I will be able to exercise every day of the week in a months time if I can keep up with my 3 day a week routine. I take my queue from a website I found last year called "RealAge", which is run by 2 doctors. I would like to suggest that you check it out as you can get many health tips for weight-loss, even for your pregnancy. Considering your situation I would also like to suggest that you take up walking, it's said that 40 minutes a day is enough and if you break it up into 4 10 minute cession it's apparently even better. It's totally cardiovascular, which is the best way to burn fat and no need for a gym. Swimming is also a good idea. I think discussing our efforts regularly is a good idea, and once again, I'm in.
