I suppose. But it's a time consuming process of uploading. I tried with a few files at RapidShare until I realized the amount of time and bandwidth I needed to earn the $10 payout. It was not worth the effort so I didn't pursue it. But I do know that those that are actually engaged in this are webmasters (and their friends) of ebook directory sites like ebookee.com or avaxhome.ws. I think most are from Russia. By the way, I also realized that it's a zero-sum game (i.e., you are competing with other uploaders) if you have the same files.
