Should Sachin have played World cup T20(at least in the absence of Viru)?

Should Sachin have played World cup T20 - Sachin played IPL and played wonderfully well.He is the orange cap holder. But he decided not to play the world cup T20.Do u think he did the right thibng for the team India?
Jayasuriya 40 year old is playing.
If at all Sachin thinks he is not fit for T20 format why should he play IPL?
He played the finals with a broken finger also for his franchise.but he is not playing for T20 world cup.

At least he should have changed his decision after viru was out of the team, for the benefits of team!!!
and now he is the best form of life.He scored a double ton recently.Should Sachin have played World cup T20

Well I think Sachin should have given a chance to play the T20 world cup.As we all know that it was Sachin who brought the Mumbai Indians to the final of IPL.Sachin should have been given chance atleast in the absence of viroo.

the presence of Sachin is a big boost to the team.He could have given Dhoni and the youngsters how t play the bouncers.so I think Sachin made a wrong decision not playing in the world cup T20.

I don't want to hurt anyone's feeling but i feel he is more concern for money rather than for country. Ok he is best batsmen but what he is doing. He knew sehwag and Yuvi, gauti are injured so he should have joined in the interest of country, but he chose not to. He was showing his heroics during IPL with injury, but why not now. Tendulkar i am not impressed, and i am damn sure there are many. You too think of money ahead of country.

I think it was not money but personal pride and regional feeling. He was considering the franchise more important. Remember though he is the best player of India,he never was in a world cup winning team for India.so he should have taken a chance, because he is nearing the end of his career.

Yes but playing for India is much more important and is more prideful than playing for mumbai indians. It is indian team which has given him the name and fame , don't forget young players dream for playing for india and not some regional team.

ya defenitely sachin would have made the real difference. but he was not ready to play in t20s. but even if he had wished to do so, he was also injured due to the gambling game of IPL. he too is suffering due to IPL. surely he should quit playing IPL, if he dont wishes to play t20, why should he make injuries because of ipl?
