You do know that it's FICTION right? That means it's made up.

I have read it and after I saw the move done about this novel. The was great, but the book was definitly better. Even being a fiction one, part of the novel might be true.

Well, it looked pretty real to me As I was reading the book, I thought all the explantions given were realistic. Later on I realized it was just a novel. But I think it could be, why not? just a note: there's a documentary movie about this book that one English... (I forgot what he was) was going after all the clues that are given out in the book to see whether they're true or not. I recommend you to see it if you like to see nice scences of England and the places that are mentioned in the book. It'll make you feel like you've been to those places

I read it, just to know, what all are talking about. My friend liked it a lot. I think, it's well done but nothing special. Dan Brown just picked up the topic, discussed long before, for example The holy blood and the Holy Grail, and now he inspires another writers, like Laurence Gardner - The Magdalene legacy:the Jesus and Mary bloodline conspiracy. Revelations beyond the Da Vinci code. Sure, there will be many more. It's interesting, of course, but how true?

Unfortunately, I saw the movie before I read the book. I did try to read the book, but only got thorugh a handful of chapters. The beginning of the book is so much like the movie that I felt like I knew what was coming up next and I didn't want to have to read it (like when you experience deja vu). There is some truth and history to the book, some pieces of it are fictional. I believe the historical part and think the fiction is a good story, maybe even a good theory.

I have heard it is a good book but I have not read it myself. I probably will not read it because it tends to distort the facts in the bible.

Read it less then a year ago... good plot and very realistic... i like it very much. Real or not? I guess some parts had to be true but not the truth.
