Have you kept your promise of working out your body this summer?

It’s now May and I’m alarmed. I haven’t done that huge really especially when it comes to keeping my promise of exercising or jogging at the park this summer. I was stick to some commitments at school and work so I had this difficulty of finding time waking up that early to have few exercises. I find myself dealing with extra weight and a stocky frame. It’s making me paranoid. I haven’t set things clear and it’s another school year again. I just hope that I can stretch my body even for some minutes. I feel embarrassed when old friends meet me and ask girl, you’re fat, what happened to you? It seems that gaining weight is always a subject to humiliation. How about you? Have you kept your promise of working out your body this summer?

In the summer,I often go swimming,to exercise by swimming. Swimming is a whole body movement, not only lose weight but also improve your cardiovascular function, almost all the muscles you exercise, particularly regular intensive training persist, several months of effort can make you "completely changed".

I'm also trying to maintain a more healthy regimen by exercising more and eating healthy food but i know what you mean, it's a bit tough, really requires a lot of discipline. I must, must, must get up and move my body to lose the pregnancy weight. My husband and I are trying to go jogging at night after we have put the baby to sleep.

I've been working out since early April. I've lost about 9 pounds but I'm not really intensively working out. I'm eating better, making wiser food choices and just working out a few times a week with the Wii Fit and trying to fit in more walking trips. However, that's about as far as it goes. I may add some more work outs whenever I shed a few more pounds and can motivate myself to get moving to try some more of the tougher work outs.

No.It's mystery that most of us never keep the promise of keeping our bodies fit. This summer I wanted to go for swimming to get a little bit slimmer and also to do aerobics at a gym. But the promise made to myself short lives. May be keeping our bodies fit was never a priority in our daily life since childhood. Sudden change of life style and food habits for fitter body never seems to gain upper hand over inertia.

My husband and I used to play badminton once a week, but the badminton season is over now and we can't play badminton again till September so we have to have to find a different kind of exercise during the summer months. We have talked about walking, because there are many beautiful places in the area where we live. In the past we have both walked a lot, but it has been a while, so it would probably be a good idea to get started again. I hope we will manage to walk at least once per week.

I haven't been working out as much as I wanted to be this year. However, I have been eating better and thinking about my health a lot more this year. I actually am about twenty pounds lighter than I was on January 1st an even though I don't actually feel much different, I know that it's making a difference because I recently had to buy smaller clothes. In my whole life, I've never had to buy new clothes because the old ones were too *big*! It felt terrific, and that's a huge inspiration to keep doing what I'm doing. By the way, I can't believe friends of yours would actually say, "You're fat. What happened to you?" That seems really disrespectful, and I'm sorry you have to go through that.
