How do you clean your coffee maker?

When I bought this coffee maker the coffee was so fresh tasting and enjoyable. I have never cleaned it and it's been about a year. I'm not sure how to do this? Do I just rinse water through it? Or use bleach? Or something else?

You can clean it with vinegar and water...just run it through the brewing process a couple of times to completly get the vinegar out...

I use the vinegar method and actually need to do this today! I brew vinegar through a clean filter. Then I run through about 4 pots of plain water. This cleans it very nicely. Then I clean the filter basket and the coffee pot with mild sudsey water and a wash cloth.

A good way to clean it,is to run vinegar and water through the coffee maker.alot of people use this method, because vinegar makes a good natural cleaner.
