Checkers or Chess?? which do you prefer??

both use strategies and fun can be fun and exciting, but which of the two ancient games do you prefer to play and why?

chess. the strategy involved is fantastic.many great military/political leaders throughout history, played chess when they were young.I do not play as much as I used to, but sometimes on myspace I'll play chess with someone from england or japan. I still have yet to win a match though; perhaps I should stick to halo and call of duty on xbox 360!
