Some people want to get married on the beach, others in the city hall how about you? for me i have always wanted to get married in a church and the reception I wanted it to be a garden dinner, lush green garden filled with flowers and candles. Very romantic. My hubby and I got married on the month of september which is a rainy month that is why we couldn't risk the garden reception. We had the next best thing, we converted a hall into a garden with lots of flowers and candles.

For me the best place for a wedding is in a chapel at the top of the hill near the ocean because for me its the most relaxing and away from the city wedding since you inhaled fresh air and the wedding setting is me and my girlfriend and the priest in the middle and no other people around us aside from 3 of us like in some other tv shows or anime that having that kind of settings but it really doesnt matter for me as long as you love your partner and promise to god that you will be together forever until the end.

getting married at the top of a hill sounds like a good one. I agree that when you are getting married the most important thing is the commitment and love for one another but i would have to say that the wedding day is also significant coz it's the beginning of forever for the husband and wife. It's reason enough to celebrate

I got married on the back porch of the shrine club ( a club my dad's a member of )overlooking a beautiful lake. Afterward everyone went inside to dance and eat. I think getting married on a beach would be romantic too. It just depends on the person I guess. As long as you're getting married to someone you really love than anyplace will be perfect.

I now think that getting married close to or overlooking a body of water makes the event more romantic, like having it on a beach or close to a lake. There is something about a body of water that lends more drama to an event.

I did have a perfect wedding venue. unfortunately due to a rather backwards system in the UK, you can't have a legally binding ceremony outdoors, and you can't have a legally binding Pagan ceremony either. so we had to have two ceremonies. first we had our religious ceremony, where we made our vows before the Gods, outside and in a stone circle. the legal ceremony was beside an underground lake, with hundreds of candles lighting the cave. it was utterly utterly beautiful. our reception was in my mums orchard, in a marquee. a lot of the guests camped there too, and the atmosphere was really relaxed and friendly.] it was about as perfect as you can get.
