I found out that my downstairs neighbor was taken off of the lease agreement!

Last week the woman that lived downstairs was banging on her front door and window to be let into her apartment. Apparently her boyfriend locked her out of their own apartment. He was inside of the apartment with her son. She was yelling for him to open up the door to be let back in. But it was like, he refused to open up the door. After all of this took place, she finally got back into her apartment and was arguing with him. My husband told me that she threw his computer monitor outside of the window. And plus some of his personal belongings. Now, yesterday my husband told me that he over heard her talking to someone on her cell phone telling them that she went ahead and took him off of the lease. So, I guess it did not work out between these two individuals. She even has accused him of cheating on her. He told her that the reason that he sleeps in the front room, is because he can't stand to hear any noise from the apartment that is above him, which is our apartment. I think that he is just trying to use this as an excuse. I truly believe that he was cheating on her weigh before they have even moved here. I really hope that he is gone for good because I was just completely tired of him. He banged on his kitchen ceiling with a broom every time that he would hear any disturbing noise from our apartment. I got so tired of it because, my family could not even live in our apartment like normal people. Hopefully, now that he is gone, we all can get some peace from him, including his pregnant girlfriend. This man came to our apartment around, 10 p.m. about two weeks ago. He was talking to my husband about how he knew his family and all. This man was drunk. My husband said that he smelled like beer. He does drink. He was just talking about all kinds of weird things about the noise and how that he was disturbed by it. My husband told my manager about how he came to talk to us. She was very upset. She said that he had no business knocking on her tenants door at this time of hour. She said that he was out of place for doing this. She has talked to this man over six different times about him banging on his ceiling with the broom. But he would not listen no matter how many of times that she has talked to him. So, I bet now, he will listen.

I bet you will be glad to be rid of him. I have lived in apartments alot and it can be irritating to hear people walking and talking and so forth but it is a live and let live situation. Sort of rude to take him off the lease but who knows what she was going through with him. Hope things are better for you now.

A few years ago I had to call the cops on the couple who lived above me. Now I've heard people yell at each other before. I mean in an apartment complex you see and hear a lot, just as you have talked about. But this time it was 3am, and the woman was standing outside my apartment sliding glass door (at the time I lived on the bottom floor), screaming up at her boyfriend who was looking down at her from the window above. She was screaming and cursing at him, threatening to kill him. I finally called the cops. They were thrown out the next day, but later I heard it was because he had an arrest warrant, and although the police weren't familiar with his name at the time they came to the door, he worried they would make the connection and come back. So although they were told to leave, they were going to take off anyway.
