Be careful what you wish for!

Everyone likes to make wishes. But not all the wishes will come true. It's lucky when your wish comes ture, though it seems not a good one. Just wish some good things will happen but not too many.

Yes that is true. However, I'm sure there's a reason why it did rain, but it rained too much. There are some negative things that happen but in the long run, it is a pre-requisite so that something better or good will happen. Hmm. Maybe, a reason why such a thing happened is that, it's a wakeup call for the authorities in your area to fix the drainage. Or maybe the neighborhood should do something to prevent floods in the future. On the other hand, we really should be careful of what we wish for as you said. On the same note, we should also be careful of what we say. We never know what effect it could have on other people or whoever is going to hear it.

God hears our every word and He holds us accountable to every word that comes out of our mouth. When we make a wish we should be really be careful and cautious for we might regret if God grants that wish. It is okay if the wish brings good things not just for ourselves but for all.

Well maybe we could also be more specific or accurate on what we wish for. Like in your case the amount of rain you wanted.

never wish something that would harm other people that's the only thing i hope they would do. i also had the same wish months ago.we are experiencing el nino at the moment .i is so hot during the day and you can't even have a good nap at night.

Hi hunter, thanks for coming with this topic. I do agree with you. I have this for all mylife. I don't what happen to myself.Whenever I imagine something bad happened to myself although it just few seconds of thought it will be come true.I'm totally pissed off it. So my best advice, be careful on what you wish for!!

We really have to be careful on what we wish for now adays especially if nature is the one giving it. With the Global warming phenomenon, nature will likely give us more than what we need. Example is too much heat in summer, now i am expecting more rain in the rainy seasons. I was in quezon city last week and it rained and it lasted for a few minutes that it cause flooding in some streets in metro manila. Pagasa claimed that that was not yet the start of the rainy season which is true because it's still so hot nowadays but what i'm saying is, if it can rain that much during summer just imagine how much rain we'll get during the wet seasons.

yeah i agree... sometimes a situation makes you wish for something without thinking twice. so always remember to think twice when making a wish so you'll never regret it after.. :)

ya..i've been in your shoes before.i once hated so much of my boarding school even i always thought of going back to my old school..i didn't curse the school but i kinda rebel a little bit..it make a teacher so annoyed and in the end i didn't manage to get good result..i wanted to pass with flying colors but i keep saying bad things about the school..at times i do wish i'm really loaded with tonnes of money..but by trying to get money..i ignore people around me and that make them sad...be really have to be careful of the things we want...maybe in the moment just be grateful for the love and things we had
