Do you believe that someone who always lies can change their behavior and become truthful.. I know some people that can lie without blinking an eye. I catch them and they try to wiggle their way out of the situation. Is lying something that is uncurable..do people have control over their use of lies to get what they want?

people who lies, are pretty much sad. they lie for different reasons. i often can catch people in lies specaily if i know them well. ive learned to watch how they keep moving, and how they talk. like my one neice i always can tell when she's lying because for one thing she's always say huh hum yeah huh hum. people can change thier ways if they want too, but like anyone else they need to prove themself.

People who lie cannot always remember what they said. Since it's made up ..the lie quickly escapes their mind. If you ask them a few hours later about what they said, they won't even remember.

I've known liars before, and just as leopards don't change their spots, liars never change. For some, it's so ingrained, I don't even think they know they're telling lies. For me, lying includes not telling the whole truth. For me, telling someone information that leads them to the wrong conclusion is also lying. So misinformation/disinformation are also lying. Little white lies are also lying. I know I've not told the whole truth to some so as not to hurt their feelings, but then I feel bad for not having told the whole truth. So, I know I've lied, I just don't make it a habit.

Yup, my brother-in-law was that way, but I loved him nonetheless. (He passed in 2006.)

Yes, I believe they can. A liar is not always a liar. Every people must ever lies in their life. Sometimes, people lies because of situation. They have to lie for the good sakes of other or someone they love. Not all lies are wrong. And I do believe that people can change on their consciousness.

I respect your opinion; but I know people who all their life have lied. It's not everyone who wants to turn away form falsehood.

It depends on them, but I believe that they can still change, that only if they choose to. I have a friend who always lie, that I already know when she lies and when she is truthful, but most of the time she is just lying. Sadly, she is still a liar, but I hope that she would want to change this behaviour, so that she can and will change.I believe that the only key to change is a willing heart.
