I was at a village

I was at a village for almost two weeks.There I heard the songs of cuckoo,dove and of so many unknown birds. I saw the little ducks swiming with their mother.There was no noice of traffics. In the night I saw the sky with full of stars twinkling.I heard the sound of silence. I returned to my boyhood when I lived at my village home. I will never get back that heavenly life. Now I'm a insect of a city like a cockroach.

Hi bhanu, I too love visiting my ancestral village which is almost like you describe yours.It used to be an idyllic life , clean unpolluted air and absolutely no stress of any kind.But that is gone with a new railway track being laid bang in the middle of the village and then one can imagine all other things that would come along with this new intrusion...All the best bhanu and have a great weekend

You can set a goal and who knows what the future holds. It took Hubby and me 35 years to get back to the country living we both wanted, but we did it.

i would love to be able to go and visit a village and spend some time there but i think i would need more than two weeks i love birds and all kinds of animals and i love to see young ones with their mother i would love to live in some place with no traffic i hate living where i am now i can not see hardly any stars for the glow of the city lights there is always sounds of sirens and people hollering i think everyone should get back to the heavenly life
