Do you like to have vegetables all the time for a side item when you cook at home or when you go out to eat?

I love veggies but i have them at home all the time so when i go out to eat which is very seldom i like to have something i don't have at home. If the restaurant has a good salad bar i can make a meal there. another reason i don't eat veggies out i don't like the way they are cooked. Most restaurants don't season veggies like i like them.

Hi jo, ja, Homemade food iis always cheaper and ofter better than the best restaurants. I mke my own dressings and they are much better then the ones you buy (and have to pay for the bottle and the label. Take care, both of you.

That is true, you can make a meal out of a salad bar or one of those all you can eat buffets, and it is never like you can do it at home even better and cheaper.

In my country it is not weird to eat fruit: its the normal dessert. We have icecream or pies and cakes only for special occations.

Usually veggies are a side item at every dinner time meal. I have fruit as a side for lunch & or breakfast.

I always have a salad entree when I go out. As for everyday, Id like to eat veggies every day but sometimes I´m too lazy and it is easier to make a sandwich or an omelette.

I love eating vegetables both at home and in dining out. It feels good to know that what I am eating is full of first-hand kind of nutrients. I consider the nutrients we are getting from animal meat as second-hand nutrients. The animals like cows eat the plants to get the nutrients, and then we only get the nutrients when we eat the cow (beef) who ate the plant. In the food chain, the nutrients from plants is being passed to us by the cow in a second-hand quality, not first-hand. Just my opinion.

Vegetables are for every day meals. I like to order fattening dishes like spaghetti carbonara made with cream and bacon..Yum! I always order meals that I am not likely to cook at home and that is why I don’t understand why people would have say, steak and salad when dining out; you can have that kind of meal anytime!
