Sinigang - Pinoy's favorite
Pinoys love sinigang. I am certain about this because even at home sinigang is a favorite. However, I don't cook pork sinigang because I don't eat pork. Instead of pork I use either beef spareribs, chicken or fish. I think the success of sinigang depends on how well you have perfected the salty and sour taste of this recipe. I also like my broth to be thickened by gabi and spiced up by siling labuyo and of course lots of veggies like okra, kangkong, radish and banana heart.

I love also Sinigang especially fish, shrimp and pork. I like also tamarind in Sinigang but I like the taste of Batuanit has distinct sour flavor it only can be found in Visayas. Beef and Chicken Sinigang is also good. I like gabi and raddish a lot in Sinigang.

Damn! I haven't eaten sinigang in for months! I so love sinigang more than anything else right now.. I used to eat sinigang every once a week, my favorite was with pork or shrimp, or whatever sinigang meat was there I'd go dig it. I love Max restaurant sinigang with pineapple it's just great. I can't wait to get back home and take a sip of sinigang.

I also love sinigang. More so if it's sinigang na sugpo (prawn). However, I hate it when my mum do it with chicken. I always tell her that chicken is not suited for sinigang. If she want to make a sour soup out of chicken, the recipe should be sinampalukang manok (Chicken in Tamarind Soup). Although there's nothing wrong with the taste, it does not seem right. It's just me, though.

I also like sinigang. But it always has to be meat. I am allergic to seafood, and before I never knew that the famous brands for the sinigang mix had shrimp powder in it. My brother who is also allergic to shrimps told me that I have to buy a certain brand because it had no shrimp powder in it. I was always wondering before I changed brands of soup mix why I would have an allergic reaction when I know there is no seafood in my broth.

Oh yes. Sinigang is one of my favorite dish, but please I really prefer sea foods, most especially Milk fish belly, pink salmon, shrimp. It's one of the finest!

I really love sinigang too especially in my province since they don't use instant tamarind mix besides all the ingredients are natural like tamarind extracts are directly pour into the pot when cooking and the taste it's so yummy combined with fish sauce with chili (patis na may sili in tagalog) you won't resist the taste.
