How do you handle your boss? Does it work?

My boss seems to be the controller type. I normally do not waste my time when talking to such a person. Hence, I do not dribble around but go straight to the point. More often it works!
How do you handle your boss? Does it work?

I have no problem with my boss. She's open to our ideas and always let us decide what to do in our work. The good thing is if we mess up she won't leave us behind. She'll accept responsibility but of course we will also be lectured. But if ever I have a boss who's the same as yours I will do the same. He/She is just my boss so I won't let him/her control me.

My boss, yes, she may have the control over almost everything at work. But that's about it. I do respect her but as for my life, I am my boss!

good thing I don't have a boss. But this june I'll be working every saturday but I told the school administrator that if she want my services I will choose my time and the subjects i'm going teach so that I could focus on my field of specialization.
At least she agreed and hope everything will be okay. I don't want to be closely supervised because I could perform better with less supervision.
