I thought I was going to sleep in this morning. Well, I was wrong. There I was half asleep. I have two dogs who sleep with me, both of them were comfortable until . . . one of the dogs threw up in bed. It was like I was in dream land. Is this happening or am I dreaming? I was not dreaming! So at 6:15 am I am out of bed and am washing clothes. Strip the bed all the way down to the mattress and off to the wash I go. At least, today maybe I will get lots of work done. Plans to sleep all gone to pieces. I will try again tomorrow.

Haha! bad doggie! I would never let my dog sleep with me, becaus of situations like that. Same with cats, even if I love them so much, i would never sleep with them.

This has happened to me in the past and like you say then you have to get up and sort it all out and then you can not get back off to sleep straight away which also makes it alot worse. My cat was the one that was laying on my bed at the time and it was also sick in my hair.Dont you just love pets.lol.

I don't have kids and my pets are my life. My 3 dogs keep me "entertained" day and night.

Hi, arabgirl28. I am sorry about this incident. Maybe you can try sleeping in again, this time where it is just you and not your dogs. I know how you feel when you want to rest but can't. I have three children, and when I want to take a nap, I am unable to if my husband is not home.

I'm so sorry to hear that your dog threw up like this! Bless his/her heart! I hope he/she is feeling better now! You really had your work cut out for you, though, didn't you? I bet you were really worn out, too. I hope you do get a chance to catch up on your sleep sometime later.
