what is beauty?

A year ago, I had my job interview with a large multi-national cosmetics company. One of the questions was "What is beauty?". I was surprise to hear that question but I realized that "Hey, this is a dominant beauty products company".
For me, beauty is what's on the inside. If you're beautiful inside, it reflects on the outside. How about you? What, for you, is beauty?

Beauty is an entity that is admired and possess. Characteristic of a person, place, object or idea that provides a perceptual experience of pleasure, meaning or satisfaction. It is a combination of inner beauty, which includes psychological factors such as personality, intelligence, grace, charm and elegance, and outer beauty, which includes physical factors, such as health, youthfulness, symmetry, averageness, and complexion. There are different views about beauty. Me when I meet someone eventhough she is not blessed with external beauty as long as she is honest and kind, she is beautiful in my eyes. And I treat her nice too. When someone is beautiful but selfish and full of air in the head, she is a witch not beautiful. It is inside that what makes them beautiful.

If your selling beauty products then i think the interviewer wants to know how do see beauty as a whole. It could be a physical beauty or personal attributes. I believe that beauty comes from within and not only just how the person looks. Personality comes first and then the physical beauty will just follow.

For me, a beautiful face without a good or a strong character is not just boring and empty but also useless.
