GMA will soon be stepping down (Really looking forward for this) as the president of our country. Her administration was hounded by lots of cotroversies, scandals and negative approval rating. Despite these negative criticisms in her 9-year reign as the president what do you think is her greatest legacy as the president if she really did have one? And what do you admire about her the most ?

She made an effort to be able recover the nation from the economic slump after the Estrada Administration so that was a plus. Although it was the people around her that destroyed her reputation that's why her approval rating went down.

Yes even the other top economists in our country agreed that GMA handled our economy well during the time of recession. Our country is still doing good in those times compared with the other countries. Thanks for the comment.

The one that I admire most of GMA is that she always moves the national holiday to another day succeeding that, favorable for the workers and students. We have no work and we can rest. I like the thing that if the holiday is on Saturday expect that on Monday is wold be a non working holiday. But if I rate GMA to what she have done in the Philippines, I will give her a 2. She faces a lot of controversy. Resumes office with many anomaly and corruptions is all over the place in her administration.

I also like her Holiday Economics. I don't know if it really helped our economy but I like the long rest I am getting for every holidays moved to weekends.

She was an economist first and foremost, and I think that was her best asset as the president. She was able to keep our economy afloat during the recession, and I admit that she has increased our GDP, and she had provided for a lot of jobs during her term, specially with the call center booming, though I'm not sure if all the praises should go to her. hehehehe. Anyway, no matter how good you are, I guess all the negativity in her administration, plus all the corruption and the issues were just too much for people to even remember anything she has done good for the country. She would have been a great president, if not for all the issues hounding her and her family.

Yes, these issues really bring her administration down. Despite all the good things the she have done because all of these scandals the Filipino people didn't recognize them. THanks for the comment :D

I can't think of any Legacy she has made and there is nothing to be like about her, maybe only hate reigns.

GMA opened the doors to BPOs here in the country and it still continues to flourish. That I think is her greatest achievement. Sadly, she has more scandals courtesy of the First Gentleman and the First Son.

Yep most of her scandals is because of her husband and his son. Thanks for the response :D

One legacy GMA has for the Philippines is infrastructures. Admit it or not, she has improved the area of transportation. However, it is sad to know that people around her and herself as well, stirred so may controversies.
