Apart from the usual dinner and movie, what else do you do on dates?

Hubby and I have our date night every week, we normally go for a dinner and movie, but we're running out of ideas on what else we can do on our bonding time and sometimes there are no good movies. What else would you do on dates? Any suggestions

Well, it's been years since I've been on a date but maybe this will help a little. How about bowling, pool (not a swimming pool), plan a picnic, long drive in the country, auction house, see a play, camping overnight, rent a hotel overnight, listen to a good band, dancing. Just do something out of the ordinary and see how it turns out, you might have more fun than you think. Get silly and enjoy, not too many couples do this anymore.

Ohhh, bowling sounds fun! and we always enjoyed billiards when we were still going out. I think I'll suggest these to hubby for our next date night. We just need to find a good billiards hall or bowling place and we're good to go! thanks!

I had to see where you lived and wow, you live in the Netherlands. I bet it's just completely beautiful there! I'm happy I suggested something that appeals to you. I wasn't sure as I'm older and young people don't do the same things we use to anymore. Sometimes the bowling alleys will have a billiards hall right inside too. You can do both at the same time, or come back another day. No matter what you do, whether it's a good time or a bad time, just remember, it does create memories one way or the other. Have fun and enjoy!!

My boyfriend and I would play games. We visit the arcade and play around. For example there's this dance game he's good at. Since it looks enjoyable, we play together taking turns. Hmm. I was thinking of doing what I'm going to say in one of our future dates. Why not cook for each other? The two of you should prepare some dish for dinner but what dish it is would be unknown to the other. A dish you both haven't tried might be interesting. If things don't turn out well, then you can just laugh about it and it to your memories together.

Arcade sounds fun. We both love arcades and carnivals, I have a lot of stuffed toys at home, and I mean a LOT, because hubby is really good with the carnival and arcade games.

I am with my boyfriend for more than four years and we always try something new for a date so we sometimes go to the movies, to the park, to diners, and sometimes we will just be organizing romantic diners at home and making the other a surprise. Make him a surprise when he is least expecting it.

sometimes i think of going in the park and explore the nature especially when it is not crowded. sometimes i think of going out with her in bookstores or at the church and exchange vows sweetly and romantically. eat ice cream together at warm climate and goes to the pet store if she wants a pet. it is a good and right way to enjoy your relationship with each other romantically and enjoy each in company. that would make your relationship grow a lot intense and in a long-term relationship. i hope it helped a little :) have a nice day!~

Why not try to chill at home, and cook some home cook meal and have dinner or lunch with the rest of the family, watch some DVDs, have a family sing-a-long. Top off with vanilla ice cream covered with strawberries yum.
