So far today I have achieved absolutely nothing at all. I'm just having a very lazy day. Got out of bed this morning, didnt make my bed, had breakfast, didnt wash dishes after, didnt switch on my computer as I had left it on over night. And that is about as much as I have done, or intend to do today, LOL. Does any other myLot members have days like this, when you just cant be bothered.

your discussion is dated a month old but i saw it only now hence this reply. usually on weekends, after finishing the house chores, it is the time i get lazy. i either just sit by the tv and watch eating some chips or popcorn, or i do my nap the whole afternoon... yeah! that's what i call getting lazy. have a very nice day. ann

Nothing wrong with that. Sounds to me you have a very active weekend, watching television, napping and eating, all take some practise and a great deal of effort. Especially at the weekend.. Enjoy your leisure time.

I have severe depression and so I have alot of 'lazy' days.Days when I just want to stay in my room and write or watch tv. With the summer coming on I do feel better but in the winter months it is awful and pretty pathetic. No, you aren't alone. And we all need a total day off at times too.

Thats different. I have SAD. Lived with a husband who also had it for several years. No fun! I think what we eat has alot to do with how we feel.

Hey, I was in the same situation few days back and started a discussion that I have no work but I have started working from today. Enjoy these days. Sometimes being lazy is good, we start with the greater energy and produce good results. So fresh yourself and enjoy.

I agree , we all need to have a day off to refresh our body, both mentally and physically. This helps make the following days chores and tasks that little bit easier to do. In this fast paced modern world it can be very hard to keep up our energy levels all the time, so I think a lazy day should be compulsary for all, especially me Have fun and dont work too hard...

Sadly my working week does not run from Monday to Friday. If it's busy then I am needed to work at the weekends also, Saturday and Sunday. Sometimes it can be cool to work the weekends because you then get days off during the week, which means you can relax and chill out when everyone else is hard at work. I wonder how many other myLotters work at the weekend, and do they enjoy it.

Yeah, sometimes I feel that way. Sometimes I feel like I just want to sleep the whole day and didnt want to be disturbed. I guess it's just normal especially when you have been working real hard the whole week.

Hi there, Myself too have this kind of feeling sometimes, even in myLot I keep logging in but I feel not having mood to participate for anything,at home I find myself walking without anywhere to go,no direction and at work I just stares over my paper works.I switched on my PC but just holding the mouse without specific browsing.Such a lazy day .Maybe its kind of recharging ourselves for sometimes. After recharged it gets back to normal performance.lol. Nice day!

Recharging the brain cells, I will need to remember that the next time someone asks me why I have done nothing all day. Normal service will be restored tomorrow

Yes, I get days like that also. In fact I would think that we all get days like that from time to time. You can start out with good intentions to do this and do that, and then stuff gets in the way. Someone could phone and you could stay talking for hours, or see something on the TV and keep watching when you really need to be getting on with other more important things. Once I break my rhythm, I find it hard to get back into it! _Derek

Hello, Your right, we all have lazy days sometimes. We need them. And you are right about making big plans for all the jobs and activities you need or want to do, but it only takes something minor to distract us and then the next thing we now the whole day is gone. Which I think means we did not really want to do anything in the first place. Long may lazy days continue...

I have also days like this especially when I am on my days off at home without going anywhere. Usually I plan to to clean my apartment on one of my days off, but sometimes the day ends in doing nothing related to any cleaning work at home. Then I may think that I can do it some other day. You see, how lazy I can be sometimes. lol

Cant blame you for being lazy. Cleaning my home is never at the top of my wish list for things to do Any excuse for not doing any cleaning is always a bonus for me

I have my occasional lazy days, like this one where the sun has not been shining for the past three days. I need my sunshine! But, MY lazy days aren't typical lazy days. On a lazy day I'll probably do a load of laundry, wash the dishes, care for our dogs and cats, harvest whatever is ripe from the garden, pull some weeds, clean the kitchen and do anything else that pops up that needs immediate attention. I tend to make people tired if they watch me on one of my energetic days.

Well if that is what you call a lazy day, I shudder to think what an active day must be like. Are there more than 24 hours in the day where you are from You need to slow down

My laziness is the day when my socket exploded, I had to explore every place that is burning and re-use what is good. When it does not work, I went out to figure out how to the stop contact as I have can connect back and do not cause sparks.

Today I also have a very lazy day because I got to listen to a man talking for more than two and a half hour and I did nothing else during that, then I I came home and ate and had a nap and juts did not want to do something because my day had already started lazy. Hopefully there is my lot else I do no know what I could have done.
@HADDOWZ (1469)

Hello med889, I guess what you mean when you say you listened to a man for a couple of hours is that you were at a lecture. At least you went to the lecture and maybe even learned something new. I would say that classes as constructive time well spent. Or are you having one of those days when you listen, but, it goes in 1 ear and then straight out the other, . I know the feeling only too well. Enjoy the rest of your day here in the myLot community and dont work to hard.

I am not so much "lazy" today as I am just plain ole tired!! Just too tired to care, or do anything. I think I am tired from the inside out! Hopefully this will change soon, maybe it is the move that just caught up with me or something!

Hi there, I dont think I am having a lazy day because I am tired, but I do get days like that also. If I actually got up and did something constructive I would probably feel more energetic and have an active day. Then again maybe not , LOL Everyone is allowed to have a lazy day every now and then. Hope you have a relaxing time here in myLot.

I am lazy every sunday. I don't want to move on from bed, sometimes I just want to sleep I don't want to eat. Even fixing my bed I can't do that. That is why fats are all over my body because I don't have exercise no more. I am not bothered, but the real reason of laziness is I don't care. I just want to relax and do nothing that is what I have feel to do.

Today is one of the many days in the last several months that it would be very safe to say that I've had lazy days. The reason that I haven't really been getting out of the house very often is because of a variety of things. The main reason is that it has been so incredibly cold here lately and that makes me want to stay inside the house. Additionally, I've been sick and being sick is definitely something that will keep you from getting out of the house.

Hi Haddows, Don't worry you are not alone. i too have experienced such kind of feeling...i am happy to say that i have a fair share in having lazy days. What is good is you are aware that it's a lazy day for you maybe to put it the positive way...a good break for yourself. you just want to be doing nothing and that really makes you feel good. but don't you know that you are still keeping yourself busy and productive????????????? because you are spending your lazy time with mylot.

This week has been extremely busy. I'm glad I've managed to continue with myLotting today which I didn't have the time to for the past few days. I look forward to more sleep tomorrow which is a sunday. But I know it's going to be difficult because I have to prepare my work for next week. Normally on lazy days I love to catch up on my sleep. Otherwise I play some online games. One of them is chess. If not I just watch the world go by...

Oh yes, it is normal to have lazy days like that. I think sometimes we just need to relax! I haven't done much today either - some washing up and household chores, some online activities, not much else. I have to cook tea for 5 people soon though. I think I am going to cook an aubergine and pasta bake. I hope you are enjoying your relaxing day and LOL at that Rubik's Cube!!!

I wrote a few things today, did some housework and made a cake. Other than that, I have done a lot of lazing myself! I see nothing wrong to take a day now and then to rest and refresh. There are always overly busy days to make up for the lackadaisical ones!
