First of all, get the most thing to the hospital, you. All you will need is a few essentials. You need something for your new baby to wear, a few things to make you comfy and you need a car seat for the ride home. Hospitals generally set you up with diapers and any other needs you have at the beginning. Everything else will have a chance to be dealt with later. Good luck!

Every thing will be provide by the hospital we don't have to worry about the things need for the regnant lady.If you feel that you are not comfortable with the dress or anything provided by the hospital better bring our self like things our wearing clothes, bed sheet, pillow cover so what is needed for you.I think our own clothes can feel us comfortable.

You need a nightgown or two if you are not comfortable in the hospital gowns. A nice comfy pair of shorts or pants and a comfy t-shirt for the ride home. A supportive bra--you're gonna need it. An outfit for baby to go home it and blankies of course. You could pack a diaper bag or jsut a few thing to put in your bag until you get home. Find comfort things like a book or crossword puzzles to occupy your mind. Just be comfortable is the main thing. Bring only what you need. If you want, get some nice calming shower supplies for a shower when it's done and over with. It helps. Good luck to you!!

Change of clothes to go home in for you and baby, baby blanket, car seat, list of phone numbers for you to call when baby gets here, comfort items like a fan, pillows, socks in case your feet get cold, toothbrush, hair brush, snacks for father or whomever is going to be there with you (preferably not to be eaten in front of you as you can't eat anything beyond ice chips til you deliver), shampoo/conditioner, soap, camera, video recorder and I think that's about it... you really don't need all that much.

It depend upon the hospital weather to bring or not.If you think that you are not comfortable with hospital things you can bring bedsheets and pillow to change, and you can bring two gown to change your dress and bring baby blanket.

I think it generally depends on the hospital itself... it might be worth asking them, just in case... but believe me you don't want to take too much with you, when I went in and had both of mine I took baby grows and nappies a whole pack of nappies actually, I also took soothers but didnt use them, I took mittens to stop the baby scratching, and also my own blankets for the baby, especially for going home in. You need to think about the weather, and so a warm suit or cardigan something like that... also when it was time to go home my other half bought in the car seat. I did not take baby powder, or baby oil, on either of my childrens births. It would still be worth checking with the hospital though or even your midwife... just to be sure. Congratulations! :)
