Is there something you enjoy doing despite having little to no skill?

There are a lot of things that we do because we are good at them. However, there are a few things that we may do for fun. We might not be the best at them. Perhaps there could be a strong case to point towards us being the worst at these things. Still despite having no skill, we tend to do certain things. For instance, I am not the most artistic person in the world by any means, yet I enjoy drawing from time to time. So how about you? Is there something that you enjoy doing, despite your skill not being all that good? Looking forward to reading your responses.

Running is the first thing that came to mind whrn I read the title of this disscussion. I love running - mainly by myslef - but I dont have speed or endurance that is usuallt associated into running or track. I have better endurance than some, and most of my friends, but nothing compared to someone who runs like marathons and as more than a little hobbie. There are obviously other things in my life that I enjoy doing that Im not good at or just plain old fail at but I figure putting down my running is all I need to cover today (all I need to burst my bubble with today, lol). Everyone has their flaws but I dont consider not being good at something you enjoy doing a flaw. I consider it a strength and a characteristic that defines a person in the most positive of ways and in the best of lights.

I agree with you one hundred percent. Anyone can do the things that they excel at. But really, is there any challenge to that? Even if you fail time and time again, there is some kind of enjoyment. Plus the hope that one day, you will be able to improve even if it is just a little bit. Thank you for your response, it is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

Yep. I like to play the piano. I've played it for years but I'm not any better now than I was 20 years ago... the talent just isn't there, I guess. That doesn't stop me from playing it, though!

Yes, if we truly do enjoy something, we will keep doing it. That and the hope that one day we might just get better if it is just a little bit. Okay, the odds might be against many but you have to have some hope. Still the enjoyment factor will be more than sufficient for the moment. Thank you for your response, it is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

Hi,there.I like to do something I am not good at it .I like to do all the things I am interested in no matter I am stilled in it or not.For example,I like drawing as well but I have little talent in it.I like watch NBA games and always want to play basketball in yard but I even can't make a shot. But it's nothing,I get a lot hapiness in these things.

I enjoy writing as well and I say I'm fairly decent enough, but I would not go as far to say that I would consider anything that I write to be publishable. In the end, it is just a hobby to keep me sane. Thank you for your response, it is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.
