now, there are many opportunities for writing to pursue their interest and dream to be a writer in the internet. freelance sites are good starters. they provide extra income for aspiring writers, but of course, they are not enough to support a lifestyle of a writer. self-publishing is a boon to writers. a finished write-up can be forwarded to a site that offer self-publishing options for writers. well, to be a good writer is actually to have something printed under one's name. keep writing then.

To become a good writer, one needs extensive practice and an awareness of how to communicate with others. Because writing is about audience, one has to be certain of the audience one writes for and also be aware of the demands of the magazine or publishing company.
Young writers should practice writing in a variety of ways and for different types of forums so as to get the necessary practice so that they can specialize as their skills develop.
