Waving at security cameras

Hi everyone! 
Just for fun, have you ever waved at security cameras? They're usually in establishments, elevators, car parks, stores, and so on. There's this arcade that our family usually go to (and we're going there again tomorrow). My brother and I love playing the basketball hoops at the arcade and the row of basketball machines is directly straight onto the camera's visual field. We love the basketball machines so much. Sometimes, we wave to the camera or just make "two thumbs up". At the mall's carpark building where that arcade is, there is a camera while taking the parking ticket/card. It used to take pictures of the front of the car and sometimes, the windshield and its passengers can be seen. I used to do peace signs, thumbs ups, the Matt Hardy hand gesture 
, and so on.
Yeah, I know that's pretty silly but I guess I'm just a goofy and happy-go-lucky person.

Ooh, too bad the supervisor got reprimanded. ^.^' I guess the management does not want anyone to actually notice the camera's existence for some reason. One thing this world needs is to loosen up and get a bit of sense of humor.

lol...this reminds me of my kids. We walk into a store or where ever there is a camera and they get all excited, especially my son. He loves to wave, make funny faces and just plain act goofy. It's funny what a security camera can do for the introverted child.

Thanks for the response! I guess it's fun to look at kids when they just become spontaneous because of a camera. I'm a quiet person myself too but these things are simple joys of life, lol.

I do all the time! I did security work for a while and laughed when people waved, made faces or made other fun gestures. Of course there were a few gestures I didn't much appreciate, but never took personally.

Hiya Enslin,
One time I waved to the Camera that was in the Park but then I never bothered again. A lot of strange things go on in that Park too so I got around it and entered in the Park another way.
I am not fond of those Camera things either I suppose they have to be there but yes I would like to pull funny faces at them if I could get away with it.
Not much of a sense of humour in this Country as my sense of humour is different to theirs naturally. I can think of a few faces to pull already it´s just that I might get fined and they have made us pay enough fines already. So I have changed my mind already (grin).
Here we are getting fined just for breathing just lately but yes I would love to pull loads of funny faces and run off quick

Aah, I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who does silly things in front of security cameras .
I have waved, smiled at them, and made faces at them too. I just found funny that there was a camera watching me, so why not to make the person who's going to watch that video laugh a little? Well, I hope they laughed

Hahaha, that must have been funny for the person watching the video. I always thought it would be a boring job to do that. At least we could help by giving them a smile.
