This question will strike in the heart of every parent . What is the right answer? Are you remember what told you yours parents, when you ask him were are you from? Or maybe what are you told your child when they as you this question? What you plan told your baby when she/he ask this question?

When I was a young child I was told by my mom a baby came out of his or her mother's tummy. I told my oldest son that when he was a young boy. Now he is 15 years old and he learned at school where babies come from. I like the story of the stalk bringing the baby. That is so sweet and innocent. I think such a tale would enchant a young child. It is similar to stories like that of Father Christmas.

I remember getting all sorts of explanations to the subject when I was a child and I asked this question that has to be on the tip of the tongue for every child. I do not remember the specifics as to what my parents told me, but it was some variation of the truth after a while. I did hear some zany explanations from my fellow classmates. Not having any children, I do not know what I would say because quite frankly I have not thought about that yet. However, it really does depend how old they are when they ask. If I give them the complete truth or some variation of the truth. It depends on the situation if you think about it and the children as well. If they are young, than you can have more fun but if they are older, then it might be best to come clean. After all, better they find out from you then by looking it up on the Internet or something.

lol. When i'm asked this question by my kid i'll just say that they came from heaven, or from an angel or something magical. Lol. I don't wanna lie to my kid but there are times when we really have to and this is one of those times. :)

I remember myself asking my parents the same question, I think I was 6 years old back then. When a couple who just got out of the hospital because the women gave birth, they were carrying their baby when they passed in front of our house, my mother who was doing something, answered me "they bought it in the market". I can't help but smile everytime I remember it.

I think that if a child asks this, they shouldn't be given a crazy answer like the stork or something. I personally hate when children are given answers like this because there are so many better ways to go about it. They should simply be told that when two people love each other very much a miracle occurs and that is how a baby is made. Or, if you believe in god, that when two people love each other a lot god gives them the gift of a child. Those answers are more straightforward than the ridiculous stork answer.
